I was grateful that this Dollar Tree was only .3 miles away from my hotel while in Tallahassee. I…read morevisited solely to purchase items to get me through the weekend while in the city. Things like body soap, laundry detergent, lotion, nutritional drinks and snacks I could eat rather than what is available at my hotel, which we all know are ridiculous in price. Another item I kept an eye out for was toothpaste, which is an item I purchase on a regular basis from Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree always surprises me with what it has in stock! Though they were not the 'boost' nutritional drinks, I did find and ended up purchasing four bottles of 'peak promise' protein shake, which had just as many calories as 'boost' nutritional drinks, as well as minerals & vitamins. My travel habits have become purchasing enough things to keep me from going out purchasing junk food or food in general, even though I still would love to visit restaurants or grocery stores within the places that I visit, but just not excessively! Recently I have discovered 'time wise' alfredo penne pasta meals. The microwaveable meals go great with vegetables like the bagged broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot combination that you can also purchase in the freezer section at Dollar Tree. It is one of the best choices when it comes to a quick meal that you can microwave in 60 seconds. It made my day to find a package of it at this Dollar Tree location after recently discovering it at my neighborhood location in Chicago Illinois. Not knowing how much soap was inside of the soap dispenser at my hotel led to me purchasing body soap. There are also times when I just use the soap in the dispenser to clean my clothes while traveling, so I felt it was beneficial to purchase soap, which this location had some of my favorite selections. Rather than utilize the liquid soap in the dispenser inside of my hotel room, I figured that I would also purchase laundry detergent because most hotels do have washers and dryers within them. And of course, this Dollar Tree did not let me down with having my preferred laundry detergent, suavital - soothing lavender scent because who wants to travel with dirty panties, t-shirts, running shorts, leggings, or socks! I sure as heck do not! Unexpectedly, I found a travel size container of lotion mixed in with other products shelved, which was a product by curel brand. Once I got back to my hotel, I discovered that there was no lotion inside of my room which ended up being a smart decision to purchase. The last presentation I want to have of myself is an ashy face and legs while running around the city of Tallahassee in short running shorts, which is just hard to unsee. A rare purchase while traveling, but since I would be away for three days in Tallahassee, I felt that it would be beneficial to purchase shaving cream as well as a razor, which therefore would allow me to be clean shaven going into the upcoming week once my trip was over with. I always prefer women's shaving cream over men's any day because it is sensitive to the skin. And pure silk is one of my preferred brands at Dollar Tree, which they had in stock. Even though I had no plans on utilizing it during this trip, I found and purchased a travel size tube of toothpaste at this location, which will be used during future travels as well. I really loved that I found just the tube of it rather than a tube with a toothbrush, which I already had. Lastly! Fruit & grain bars are an item that I continuously purchase from Dollar Tree because they work perfectly as a snack, with 140 calories per serving in each bar. I purchased a box as something I could eat to satisfy those hunger moments during my weekend. There was pretty much only one option to choose from that was shelved at this location, which I had no complaints about. It seems like that at any Dollar Tree location and this one was no exception. Whether it be for the purchase of shaving cream, razors, toothpaste, lotion, nutritional drinks, laundry detergent, body soap, or even snack foods, Dollar Tree continues to be a place where I spend money on a regular basis even while traveling to different cities. Happy shopping, and blessings to all that have stumbled upon and read this review. ~ Keep moving Forward ~ Thomas G

After leaving called the supervisor and he made up lies saying our highly trained, and perfectly behaved service dog was supposedly "aggressive". Supervisor refused to give us his name and hung up on us when asked, then turned of their phones so that we could not call back. They illegally ask for service dog papers here and do allow large and aggressive dogs into the store, yet our little dog that stayed in the cart was supposedly "misbehaved"

This is one of the cleanest and most organized Dollar General stores I've ever visited. Most times,…read moreI am fighting to get up and down the aisles of the stores because there are boxes everywhere! It's like the stockers can't ever keep up and they just leave stuff everywhere. Now that I mention it....isn't that a fire hazard? Anyway, this Dollar General is pretty large in size and not over loaded with unorganized inventory. The staff are always friendly and helpful and visible just in case you have a question or concern. Here you can find great deals on everyday buys. Be sure to download the app to your smartphone and get the digital coupons. These help to make already inexpensive products even cheaper and an added plus for manufacture coupons if you don't get the Sunday paper! Take note of a frequent coupons for $5 off any purchase of $25 or more. (TIP: Be sure to have the cashier take this coupon off PRIOR to any manufacture coupons.) This store is highly recommend for your everyday needs.

Yesterday I asked for a key to the bathroom from the lone cashier and she handed me one to the mens room. Fortunately a different employee was back there and said it was fine to use. Later, when rounding a corner, a merchandise post scraped my armed cutting it. At checkout, when I told the same cashier about the incident, she didn't respond so I repeated myself. She said "I heard you" and kept ringing up. She was so awful that the customer behind me loudly said "RUDE!" Such a shame that a paid employee has zero consideration for customers much less having her employer's back. A small child could seriously injure their head, the liability is there waiting to happen. This is a WALL of unsafe conditions. I'm posting a picture of the prongs from the side, they need to be taken care of it and the cashier shouldn't wear a necklace with her name on it if she wants to behave this rudely.
