In two weeks, it developed a hole in the corner of the sofa. I was told by the store manager that they no longer had this item in stock and no other stores had it. This took about 5 phone calls and being placed on hold for quite some time each time. However, since I had purchased their 3 year furniture warranty, he said I was lucky, it simply wait and it could be replaced in 3 years. I really liked this set at the time and trusted the Lane name. I registered the item back then and waited to today. Since then, it had developed a total of 4 holes, 1 starting another corner and although the cushions were holding up beautifully in my 2 person adult household, the fabric itself pilled on the one piece. I went to their website today www.myprotectionplan360.com/biglots only to find my registration and information no longer existed, yet it did a year ago. Then I have found they have switched plan carriers 7/2021 to Allstate. So I called the customer service number for the coverage plan 800-718-08770. She located my 2 plans for the pieces and then put me on hold after asking a few questions about the frame which had poked through on 2 of the 4 holes right away. She came back with the plan only covers the frame. 2 lessons learned I was naïve to trust the manager and don't waste my money at an outlet furniture store like this. However, since I didn't get a kiss when I am out of my 772.18, it was my first and last purchase from them since this money is not disposable to most of us, I will gladly spread my love far and wide so that other customers are not swindled & liked to like I was.

And there's so much noise, I have to use headphones to tolerate the constant announcements. There's much noise even visually, in the form of ever-present Ollie comics hanging -everywhere- featuring horrible puns. And the place is constantly dusty, and I must limit my time in-store so as to not suffer allergy issues. The shopping experience is generally unpleasant, and it's now rare that I shop at Ollie's. Selection's a bit dubious: as it's a closeout store, it's really limited to what the company gets a hold of at the time. Value varies. A person might get lucky, and find something of interest and use at a good price, but that person must be prepared to wade through a lot of nonsense to find it...

I love to come in here on Thursdays. Thursday is the last day before delivery and everything is dirt cheap I was able to pick up a bathing suit for $1.50 today and shoes for three dollars. The price of the "bins "changes with the day of the week example Friday is restock day so everything in the bins is $15, by Thursday it's usually under five dollars. In addition to the "Krazy bins" there are also shelves full of discounted products from makeup, hygiene, electronics, boxed furniture, and seasonal decor. Another thing to know before you go... Once my mom realized her mistake, we tried to dry her hearing aid at home and insert a new battery- to no avail. In desperation, I called and spoke with Keith in the hearing aid department and he encouraged me to bring in the hearing aid ASAP so they could attempt to dry out the water in their special hearing aid dryer. They made no promises but continued to attempt to dry the hearing aid over several cycles to try to regain functionality. Finally, they were able to breathe some new life into the hearing aid. Despite their efforts, the hearing aid is not the same but is somewhat functional. What counts here is the team effort! Emma worked as long as she could before handing the project onto John. Keith had already briefed the team to expect my arrival. I remember their names because they impressed me with their dedication and I wanted to recognize all of them. They didn't charge me anything and suggested I pay it forward with my own good deeds and of course recommended purchasing new hearing aids from Costco. This is a great group of compassionate people!
