I wasn't sure what I was walking into, when I entered Renys. Mom and I were looking for something…read moreto do between our stops and Renys was there, so we popped in. They had a great selection of shoes and a decent variety of men's and ladies clothes. Unfortunately, the men's and the ladies were lacking a variety of sizes throughout their lines. Their clothing prices seemed a bit high to me. The shoes were decently priced, if they had your size. There were a lot of miscellaneous home, office and holiday items, but I didn't find anything worth purchasing. They had a decent snack/food area, but the pricing was no deal and the things could be found in any grocery store. The store was a good place to waste time, not sure if it would be a destination that I would need to return to.

However, we've pleasantly been surprised by some of our clothing purchases and other, random necessities. They have an underrated selection of furniture, primarily couches, chairs, and tables, and I would easily by a few items for my finished basement if I lived closer. If you're a bargain, hunter, and looking for a place that can be a rewarding experience, you should consider a visit to the store.

Their shoe selection wasn't the greatest. I didn't go to the hardware department as I didn't need anything in there. The beauty product selection was skimpy. I've been to the Marden's in Biddeford (twice) & the one in Waterville and out of all 3 I have to say my favorite one is the Biddeford location. A lot of the stuff in here seemed like a lot of junk. No good bag/purse selection, clothes weren't that great & overpriced for a place like this. Their ladies room wasn't up to par either. Don't forget to bring your own bag as they don't have any. The cashier was nice but only after I made conversation with her, she didn't seem to happy to be working there. I only walked out with a couple of things. I definitely wouldn't want to come to this location again & would tell my Mom "let's go to the one in Biddeford!"

I only have set up during the week from about 9 am to 2 pm and avoid the weekends which I understand to be vendor full by early morning. I choose a nice shopping weather day with low wind prediction. Vendors pay by the table and for 2026, it is I think $4 per table per day Mon-Thurs and $5 Fri. It's been a convenient way to sell stuff I'm decluttering from my home and the other vendors are friendly and helpful as are the customers. For customers, you may stop on day with varying number of vendors with varying types of stuff, so you can't count on what you'll find, and many vendors are gone by noontime.

Pulled into the parking lot and was surprised at goes many cars were there. Waking up to the door and going inside noticed this place was very busy. Initial impression was that there were a lot of nice furniture items. Looking closer at the prices, I felt they seemed way too high for being a restore. Compared to the one by our home, these prices were very high. Store was clean and set up nicely. It's just that the prices were very high.
