Wish the staff didn't wear leggings/tights as pants. That's so incredibly unprofessional and gross.

I signed up for the Smart Rewards app in mid-March because of the 99-cent daily coffee promotion…read more When I used the app on March 21, I was charged full price. The cashier said something about the system "not registering yet" but that doesn't make sense, because the transaction showed up in the app immediately. It also showed multiple transactions from March 2025 in a city I didn't visit that year, so I know with absolute certainty I didn't make these purchases. I wouldn't trust this thing with my credit card. Back to the coffee. They have now changed the promotion so that you have to spend an additional $3.49 on other items to get the 99-cent coffee price. I signed up for a specific offer that they didn't honor, only for them to make the deal worse. Looks like I won't be going back to Cumbies for a while.

We were not thinking we would get anything other than some drinks and a hot dog at best, but they had quite a few items to choose from. The clerk (I think his name was Craig) was super nice, helping us choose one of his favorite things to eat in the store, chicken tenders and hash browns. He even got the ranch dressing from the back to combine with the bbq sauce. We were so thankful for a hot snack to hold us over until later in the morning after check-out in a nearby hotel. The food items were baked in an convection oven and came out piping hot. Surprisingly, it was all very tasty! The clerk asked if we needed anything else and then bid us a good night and we were back on the road far better off than when we arrived.

Shopping has become such a burden amidst the pandemic between inflation and traffic in my area…read more I stopped into Seabra (Formally Hi-Lo/Almacs) on a whim and ended up being one of the more enjoyable shopping experiences that I've had in a long time. The store is nestled into the back roads of Attleboro, in a plaza that seems frozen in the 1990s. They have ample parking and the store is also accessible by foot which is a nice feature for local residents. It's not as fancy as other nearby markets but it's clean, well lit, and organized. The prices were comparable to competitors, in fact I ended up saving $30 on the entire shopping trip. This particular location also had a wine & spirits section so you can literally do one stop shopping and avoid multiple trips. Lastly, every employee I encountered was pleasant and prompt. The other customers were also friendly and polite to each other. I'm really glad I stopped in and I'm looking forward to utilizing them more frequently.

Don't go there if you need many items from the middle aisles, as they are normally priced high. Overall, it is a great place to shop once per week to stalk up on meats, bread, milk, deli, and produce as needed. The meat selection is top notch and has many affordable options. I just got some awesome pork that is feeding my family deliciously for $4 right now.

Family Dollar, they have not much workers there. They still have stuff though. They also often are…read moreselfish to their customers and talk about their self a lot. I usually go here some of the times but not really.

Family Dollar (FD) is a good discount chain store for household items (except for frozen groceries,…read morewhich are pricey everywhere but chain supermarkets and Walmart), as well the latest-opened (until 10:00 p.m. seven days per week) store in this immediate neighborhood for those who are pedestrians. My only other complaints are these--my local FD store is not open 24/7, and it does not provide cash back with credit/debit card purchases. Also, for whatever reason, my local FD store does not sell plain ice cream cones, the product into which one scoops one's own choice of ice cream. Joy Ice Cream Cones are a staple brand at supermarkets. So why does FD not sell that or any other line of plain ice cream cones? My guess is the store is trying to push customers to purchase their frozen foods line of ice cream novelties--Drumstick, Good Humor, etc. In general, I think of FD having become the replacement for the old Woolworth's/five and dime discount stores, the most economical place to buy that replacement kitchen utensils holder as well the utensils (forks, knives, spoons, etc.) such an item would hold. Need a bottle of drain cleaner? FD is the best place to shop for it at affordable prices. Have you just moved and not yet found into which box you packed your kitchen drinking glasses or coffee mugs? FD has you covered there too. And FD also seems to have the lowest prices (but we're talking merely cents) for cigarettes in this community, which are so overtaxed it is obscene. It is long since past time for a militant smokers' rights campaign to combat unjust taxation and regulations--especially since the United States Congress, hypocritically, still pays price supports to farmers to grow tobacco. Also, private establishments (such as bars and restaurants), and not governments, ought be allowed to decide who may smoke on their own "private" properties. The only problem with any smokers' rights campaign is many smokers become too winded to protest for very long, so would require substitute pickets after an hour or so of marching/protest time. But I digress (sorry, it's my only genuine "cause"). "My name is Jim, and I didn't pay for this message." Now back to the Family Dollar review. FD also has a surprisingly ample selection of clothing that is good for all but very large sizes. For that one would still need to visit Walmart or a big & tall store.I have even been able to buy a men's belt, necktie and a wallet at my local FD store. And they also sell some bath and bed products, such as bath towels and queen-size bed sheets. And FD has a very economical selection of health and beauty stock, truly a discount compared to chain pharmacies. The FD house brand--called "Family Wellness"--of over-the-counter (OTC) meds is the best bargain. For a bottle of anti-allergy tablets (loratadine, quantity 45) which one would pay $35 for the brand name Claritin, about $25 at a chain pharmacy (CVS, Walgreen's, etc.) for one of their house brand items and $8 (Equate line of OTC meds) at Walmart, one will pay about only $4 for the equivalent amount in the Family Wellness line. This makes FD's line of Family Wellness OTC meds the best value for the money. Please also continue to patronize brick-and-mortar retail establishments. You may be reading my review online, but some shopping still needs to be done offline. If human beings continue this pattern of isolation and interacting only electronically, the world becomes an even more narrow-minded and hostile place which has forgotten customs of polite socialization. Plus, you may be putting your neighbor out of her/his job. Remember too, "Facebook does not equal face-time." I wholeheartedly recommend my local Family Dollar store, but do not understand why it has not posted its hours on Yelp. I will resolve that issue now, at least until FD takes its own initiative to post its business hours-- Monday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Tuesday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Wednesday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Thursday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Friday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Saturday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Sunday 08:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
