However, it is rather difficult to take it back in a suitcase. I could definitely see this store as a stop to buy everyday items. They have cleaning supplies, office supplies, food, etc for a really cheap and affordable price. I saw many items that you can purchase at the grocery store for cheap. They even had holiday items for Christmas. Even though it was after Christmas it still wasn't discounted yet. The staff were nice and friendly when we checked out. However there were no staff working on the floor to help people. Overall good dollar store, but I couldn't see myself wanting to come back here again.

I liked that they are health conscious. I purchased some groceries from here, but also was able to get maple cookies for friends and ketchup chips. This store has just about everything that you could think of. They even had a fresh bakery section and even a deli. The lines were rather long with a lot of people shopping however it went by really quickly. They ask if you need bags, but they prefer that you bring in your own reusable bag. I also found there are more local made products within the store so as to support local producers, yes, the price maybe a bit higher then national brands, but if we all chip in and help buy local, we are helping our society to recover faster! Some really beautiful items. Granted, it is not a fancy gallery, and a bit run-down. But the artwork is wonderful. The highlight for me were several carvings by Eddie Apodaca, a member of the Coast Salish Nation who comes from a family of carvers. He was trained by Jacob Lewis and Earl Lewis, and has clearly come into his own based on the intricacies and detail level of his work. The amazing thing about this gallery is the pricing - they have a very wide variety of custom pieces at prices that are well below what you would find in similar galleries in the Vancouver area that perhaps have fancier carpeting or background music playing instead of a TV blasting on some bad movie. This gallery is a diamond in the rough. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through on your way to Whistler!

Great selection of climbing gear and books/guides, and their selection of climbing shoes is awesome! Like most outdoor shops, prices are pretty expensive. But, I think the two dollar sign is accurate. In the back is a little section dedicated to used gear. I didn't find anything that really caught my eye though. They offer crashpad rentals!! $20 for the Metolius and $25 for the Organic pads (per day). Pretty fast and easy process to rent: pick a pad, they hold onto your credit card info until you give back their pads (you can pay cash, too), and then upon returning your pad they'll cut up your card info.
