They had an amazing variety of gifts from Maine/Portland, and everything was fairly priced. I ended up buying 11 postcards for just $10.50 -- a steal compared to what I've seen at other gift shops when traveling around. The postcards were also beautiful and very high quality. Agin if you can buy them out of security just because it will be cheaper most times. Sometimes they do have sales on though so check and see what they are offering. When I asked the clerks what the name of the store is - they told me it's a "Paradies Shop" - which is the company that runs it. In any case, this store carries cold bottled water and sodas, snacks, toiletries, books, magazines, newspapers, and tourist knick-knacks. I picked up some cold bottled water here after passing through the TSA security checkpoint.

Not a fan of the larger priced items, it's like they are trying to be like The Dollar Store. Glad they keep those items together to avoid confusion. I wanted to name a young man I have encountered at this location several times because he maintains his goodness even when the line is down an aisle and he's the lone man taking care of us. His name is Jacob. I commented on his positive disposition and kindness shown to elderly and the children he encounters. Meanwhile other staff are working on stocking shelves and manager is no where to be seen. He said it's OK as long as he can keep the line moving people are satisfied. I will continue to come here and hope to see Jacob again. The older woman who works the cashier position is also very nice under circumstances with pressure.

Decided to purchase some baby items and when I got home had some second thoughts and decided to make a large return and only kept a few items. One of the items did not have a tag on it but was purchased with the rest of the other things I returned. So as the cashier was trying to figure out the return, the manager MAXINE steps in. Her tone of voice and body language towards me was extremely awful and rude. She clearly made the insinuation that I had stolen the item because apparently there is no way to prove that I had purchased it at a TJMaxx store. I'm a customer that serves in the US Army and works full time for the largest hospital in the state... I don't have to steal from a store like this nor am I going to tolerate an individual like MAXINE making the assumption that I would do something like that. Along with the variety you can definitely find deals that are cheaper than anywhere else. I've found you can find some of the best deals on clothing here. That being said theres a few things that are uniquely and insanely annoying about every location. #1 there isnt a good boxing station. I do like that they use boxes, it makes a lot of sense, however theres not a good place to accomplish the task of putting everything into a box. So youre using like the picnic eating tables or an empty register to do it and youre always in the way. #2 the location of the bathroom is so insanely frustrating. It is ALWAYS beyond the checkout and with no clear path to/from it. So if you have to use the restroom before checkout it is such a process and so inefficient because youre having to go through the open checkout aisles. #3 no aisle labels + the location of where things are and what they carry is constantly changing. They have an amazing selection but it is not consistent at all. #4 the location of the carts is on the other side of where you come in, so the traffic leaving the out doors is always clashing with the traffic arriving to the in doors. They should put the bulk of carts on the side of the in door. Otherwise i love Costco, but these are systematic things that just make no sense that to me would be pretty simple to fix when they open new stores but the issues are always the same.
