When I asked the clerks what the name of the store is - they told me it's a "Paradies Shop" - which is the company that runs it. In any case, this store carries cold bottled water and sodas, snacks, toiletries, books, magazines, newspapers, and tourist knick-knacks. I picked up some cold bottled water here after passing through the TSA security checkpoint.

Not a fan of the larger priced items, it's like they are trying to be like The Dollar Store. Glad they keep those items together to avoid confusion. I wanted to name a young man I have encountered at this location several times because he maintains his goodness even when the line is down an aisle and he's the lone man taking care of us. His name is Jacob. I commented on his positive disposition and kindness shown to elderly and the children he encounters. Meanwhile other staff are working on stocking shelves and manager is no where to be seen. He said it's OK as long as he can keep the line moving people are satisfied. One of the items did not have a tag on it but was purchased with the rest of the other things I returned. So as the cashier was trying to figure out the return, the manager MAXINE steps in. Her tone of voice and body language towards me was extremely awful and rude. She clearly made the insinuation that I had stolen the item because apparently there is no way to prove that I had purchased it at a TJMaxx store. I'm a customer that serves in the US Army and works full time for the largest hospital in the state... I don't have to steal from a store like this nor am I going to tolerate an individual like MAXINE making the assumption that I would do something like that.
