The products are always higher end, quality and luxury brands. Prices are very reasonable and the selection plentiful. They have many different departments; housewares, linens, small bath/beauty section, crafts, stationary, seasonal, luggage, fancier food items, small kids/baby section, rugs, furniture.....I think that about covers all. My favorite department hands down is home decor. Organization is pretty good but if you find something you like buy it cause you might not see it again. The staff has always been helpful and do a good job with their displays. There is never a crowd and I'm always able to secure a parking spot immediately at the door. If you go online you can sign up for their flyers and they usually have something featured that peaks my interest. A must go if you love to decorate as I do, on the cheap, but not compromise quality.

It's basically used items or items that were not satisfactorily to the purchasing consumer, that being said I started pricing different items in the store against the prices they charge on Amazon for the items exact same item. After checking 12 different items , I found that there is very little discounts involved, some item are actually less when purchasing new on Amazon !....they claim discounts up to 80% but that is just not the case!...now I know why I was the only one in the store!

I often find treasures that I can then gift, or add to our children's library. I've bought many, many books here. Sadly, the store is often dirty. And then often the book section is an exaggerated state of disarray. The books in front are all placed forward facing, blocking all the books behind them like a mean little fence. I thought there was a crazy person coming to the store doing this, but no, it's the store staff. Apparently the only solution to overstock is to stuff the books in wherever and who cares about how the customer will experience that. Any child who comes to peruse can't move a book without the potential of a avalanche of books collapsing forward. There is no rhyme or reason for the state of the book sections, all I know is that sorting books vertically with the titles facing outward can't be that hard. The employees are always operating at the minimum status, often not saying a word to us at check out, besides "here's your receipt". I probably won't ever return, simply because it's obvious the owner or manager or whoever does not seem to care about the way customers will experience their store or the experiences they will have in the store. Why support a business that seemingly just doesn't care?

Yesterday and today are the soft openings for the store with the grand opening this weekend so I…read morestopped by to see what was going into the old Kmart building. With such a weird name I wasn't sure what to expect. It's a mix of a well organized Ollie's or Christmas Tree Hill, or what Big Lots used to be. Tons of items ranging from clothing, gardening, tools, pet supplies, cleaning supplies and shelf stable foods at discounted prices. Since it's still in preview stages, the store was clean and bright, most shelves well stocked and kinda felt like a warehouse. They do carry some name brand things but most of it is off brand so don't go in expecting to get a specific type of item. Most staff greeted us, asked if we needed anything and the registers got through the lines pretty fast. A few hiccups but that's to be expected since its so new. Overall nothing really stands out but its nice to have a large scale store again to get misc items from without having to drive all the way to Lancaster or Harrisburg.

The premade dishes looked perfect for Thanksgiving sides. Each Costco has the third party vendors who want to sell you something. It looks like they have to remain right by their station, making them easy to avoid. The clothing section wasn't very interesting. Hubby saw a battery operated warming vest that he liked. The decorative paper plates were a great idea for holiday gatherings (inexpensive too). The self check out was a breeze. My favorite item was the frozen pretzel, a reminder of a wonderful Lancaster weekend.
