Just got robbed of $5300…read more Bought a 2017 Nissian Sentra.. a day later the transmission blew. Didnt even drive it for a full day. There were no signs of issues when I tested it on highway, except battery being jumped to test cause he said "it was sitting for a week" so I replaced it today & drove on highway eventually it was stalling & checj engine came on so had a mechanic check he said transmission is gone & thats cost 5k to fix. When really he restarted the battery so that the check engine wouldnt pop up. The guy that sold it to me, name is Ali that works at "mke deals" on 15th & national, "it was a company car" so I registered it there as well & all to rob a single mom with an autistic son, then not feel bad at all is just crazy asf to me. I called to find a solution, he said he won't give my money back or replace it. He wont reply or pick up now. -I should've known to not buy this car, knowing you can pass with restarting battery, codes won't show but robbing me was a mistake I promise Ali. Info to keep you guys on here aware, he's currently selling another car so be careful.

They seem to have some turnover and a lot of times there are employees in the aisles but not enough at the registers when you need them. The long lines aren't entirely the fault of the employees, though. I can't even count how many times I've been in a hurry and in line behind someone who's just not prepared to do their transaction and leave. It's a Family Dollar, I've seen people try to argue with the clerk mid-transaction about a clearly-posted "no cash back" sign. All that said, I'll be darned if this isn't the most convenient place to buy my kitty litter. Kitty litter is heavy, I'm generally on foot, and this Family Dollar is very close to my house. I tried buying it online for awhile but had kind of a hit-and-miss experience. So it's really just easier to buy the 20-pound boxes here and take advantage of the shorter walk. I also sometimes pick up "emergency" staples like paper towels or some ramen noodles to take to work when I'm on the cheap. Like it or not, it is really convenient that the store is there. I try to make a contribution and do my purchases as fast as possible.

You basically have your name and your location. I used to have three corner stores (BODEGAS) equidistant from my house. There was S&M Foods, Clarke Foods, and the Midget Market. After disqualifying Clarke Foods for their utter lack of originality, that left S&M and The Midget Market as the top competitors. With the closure of S&M, Midget Market was the undisputed champion of Riverwest bodegas. I know some of you *cough*Rachel*cough* like Sunrise Foods for their booze selection and convenience to your location, but really, isn't it worth a few extra blocks to shop at a store named after a race of itsy-bitsy tiny people? Where is your sense of adventure? That said, Midget Market has a pretty good selection. I don't buy much from there except XXX Flamin' Hots for the girl, RipIt energy drinks for me, the occcasional six-pack of beer and emergency cat food supplies, but they seem to have a pretty good selection. The service is great. It's a bit impersonal that all your business is conveyed through bullet-proof glass, but the two owners and even their daughter on occasion have never been anything but polite and friendly to me. Honestly, since its re-opening I probably prefer Clarke Foods to this place but I still go there a few times a week and heartily recommend it to anyone who craves junk food, low prices, and stores named after wee-folk.

Those things tend to be outrageously overpriced at big box stores, but not here. They have a good mix of generic brands (Rexall, DG Health) and name brands. Cool things I have gotten: air freshener in the shape of a surf board, ac charger for two USB devices in one outlet, Starbucks gc and s'mores Poptarts!
