Since moving to Meridian Idaho I've gone to the Dollar Tree in Meridian 3-4 times and every single time there are boxes throughout the aisles. And the aisles are small to begin with. Inventory should not always be in boxes in the middle of the aisles when customers are trying to shop. I always see elderly customers struggle to get by or caregivers trying to push wheelchairs through. I think Dollar Tree is losing money by not keeping it convenient for customers to shop. I usually leave because it's a hassle to get by boxes and other customers. I think Dollar Tree can do better. Boxes everywhere look tacky and they're a possible liability.

Dollar Tree has a great selection of seasonal partyware and party favors and have it all put together in a section at the front of the store. I love that they put all the candy and food associated with a holiday together on an aisle in that same area. You can often find some gems like Pillsbury brand scented candles - great for gifts and smell delicious! And decent brand of health and beauty things. I bought some Arm & Hammer body wash, Arm & Hammer shampoo and Arm & Hammer foot powder for a little gift set for my teenage boy. And they have a good selection of those little Crystal Light sugar-free drink packet boxes in Hawaiian Punch, Crush Soda, Wyler's Lemonades, and more. We have a candy dish at the reception desk at the office, so I'll always pick up a couple of dollar bags of candy to contribute on the cheap. I always pick up a rope for my dog from their pet section - the pet food you can probably get on sale less than $1 at the grocery store - but the toys for $1 are a good deal. Wrapping paper for $1 is a good deal. It's not the best quality, but they do have Hallmark brand at Christmas time in lots of fun, relevant characters and patterns (still lesser quality than if you actually bought it at a Hallmark store). I saw two silhouettes in the office, and one clerk unboxing Christmas merchandise. I went to her and asked her if she could help me as I had only three items, and the customer ahead of me still had hundreds of items to go. She told me she was too busy to assist. They handled as long as they can and then they call for somebody to come to register to help them. When the person gets to the register they are less than please than having to help their employee out by the sound of their voice the way making you feel like it's an inconvenience when they say rudely that they can help them on register 4. There has been many times where the people in line see how sour this person with the name tag of Jasper and they don't get out of line and go into his line because he's just not a friendly person. Most all the time the person running the register is extremely helpful and very nice but it's very hard to go in and shop when they are busy. If that person is working because they make it a hostile environment to where even the person work in the register is uncomfortable when they come out and help sometimes it takes them awhile to even open a register as the line gets bigger. By this time, people are getting upset not at the person that is running the current register, the fact that they had to wait and stand in line for so dang long only to feel uncomfortable like your ruining this humans day. People who don't like the public or at least as a customer that's how it is seen shouldn't be in customer service at all. I'm surprised with the tremendous amount of bad reviews on this one particular person that somebody hasn't done something about him already. I will no longer be shopping there and neither will my family. We will go to the one off a lender or in Kuna. Impact the economy.

I'm not the only one who has had issues with the same manager. The cashier was very polite and apologized when she didn't need too. Working there must be a nightmare! What an unprofessional human being how he got that job in the first place flabbergasts me.
