Ok now I'm sorry I had to write a BAD review on Christmas Eve, HOWEVER I feel this one is beyond necessary!! I went in there about an hour prior to closing to see if there were any last min things to buy, but not only was the store a TORNADO, but the 2 Cashiers were EASILY agitated with ALL of the customers standing in the long building line, but one of the cashiers 'Ms Shirley' had an elder male customer our line where she was only accepting CARDS (no cash), the man must didn't hear her because he pulled out cash and then got yelled at as if he was a freakin child, 'I TOLD Y'ALL I'M NOT TAKING CASH OVER HERE'.....me and my mom looked at each other because that was RUDE of her (Ms Shirley).....next the big fat other Cashier lady who ONLY SITS DOWN to ring out customers, in the other lane was talking loud, and when a Caucasian lady who was a few people behind me asked that particular Cashier a SIMPLE INNOCENT question about pay types, the Cashier then yells out..... 'Y'ALL GON STOP PLAYING WITH BLACK PEOPLE'....... now I must say I'm BLACK and not only did I DISagree with that statement, but it was UNnecessary, RUDE, UNprofessional, and made quite a few of us uncomfortable..... I don't know what's going on in here but it always looks like tornadoes went through each aisle. It's a hot mess. They never know what products they have in stock because they're all sitting in boxes in giant piles waiting to be unboxed.. sometimes the people are nice I just wish they also handled the store better. read more

Zero customer service. Store number 3588 employee name (Dash) Waited 10 minutes at the register when trying to check out. No employees were there. I finally seen two employees coming, both staring down at their phones. One was the manager. They both walk up and don't say a word to me. Dash starts scanning my items in one hand and texting with the other. Even stopped scanning to send a text. Unbelievable. Didn't tell me my total, just stood there texting as I'm paying. Hands my receipt to me and says nothing. Unprofessional and rude. He should not be working in retail. The manager also needs customer service training, he should have apologized for my wait or at least acknowledge me. Also there's boxes all over the floors. Trip hazards all over the store. Don't know why the owner of this store doesn't take pride in their own business. This store is a complete mess, boxes all around the isles, everything so disorganized. They need to hire more staff or be there themselves to straighten that messy store. Even garbage bin outside the store, garbage was all out the sidewalk it looks so grouse. They should call the building manager and report these things so they can come and clean up. I know is not the best area, but you need some type of management to control these situations. Josh is one of the worst managers at Dollar Tree ... poor organizational skills and terrible customer service. There was a very long line at the store and instead of putting an additional employee on the cash register, he's in the office. There was literally 1 cashier for a line of 10 plus people which kept growing. Then the cash register system goes down! His excuse for the line being long is that the system is down, but the line was long before the system went down. The priority of the store should be to get customers that are in line processed as quickly as possible. (There were customers leaving because the line was so long.) I will not be returning to this store. read more

I came here to buy some triple AAA batteries for one of my zillion remote controls that I seem to have in my house...not sure where they all come from but there they are.....well there was one cashier and about 9 people waiting in line not including myself. There was one other woman working on the floor but I don't know if she doesn't work the registers or just not interested in helping. They have great stuff, I will give them that. This location has awesome seasonal deals, whether you are celebrating Christmas, Halloween, a graduation, Mother's Day, or planning a party. However my complaint amongst coming in here many times is that they do not have enough lanes open during peak/busy times during the day. This is extremely frustrating when you see employees in the store wandering. I have noticed that on multiple occasions, and it just so happened that this past week I decided to check in for Yelp so that I could review later. One time I tried to come in around 8 PM to run in and run out and purchase a gift bag and a card, and to avoid the lines in Walmart, and upon seeing how the line was backed up around the middle of the aisle in the store, I changed my mind because of the wait time. Inexpensive or not,they should have at least two lanes open when the line is that long. read more

Great selections. Poor customer service, from both a black female manager Colette or Paulette and Cashier Pryn. She did not properly train new cashier Pryn who did not return my change. My bow cost $1.06 and I gave cashier $1.10. What was so difficult if the register does all the calculations? She just unwillingly put the bow into a bag and dismissed me. She immediately started cashing the next customer. The customer ahead of me got from Cashier "have a nice day," I got nothing. Not even a thank you!! I had already spent $20 on Friday 22nd. I am always in this store. Today I needed a bow to complete a project that is why I only got the bow. Extremely rude individuals and discriminatory. No carts for my 2 year old!! I had to hold her the whole time. Try paying in the line holding a 2 year old trying to touch everything. Worst experience will NEVER go back to this location. Complete mess inside with boxes everywhere. I went today for thanksgiving supples and they had absolutely nothing for thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving is in over a week why would they not have anything ?! It's a dollar tree and it's just what you expect it to be. It has a wide variety of items. More so than we find at our local one. The one thing I can say is that it is larger than most of the dollar trees around where we live. read more

I hope that you "customers" will understand that Dollar normally has ONE, count 'em, ONE Cashier, One MGR and MAYBE one freight mgr (doing merchandising) at a time. This is to keep costs down. If there is no freight person, the MGR is putting merchandise out. Now, what you may not know is that Dollar Tree is NOT Wal Mart where the same stuff comes in all the time. It is more of a consignment shop filled with leftovers that stores like Wal Mart/Target could not stock due to shelf space. Thus, what was there last week/last month, may not be there this time. The employees do NOT know if it is there are not usually, until a "customer" buys it or they pass it along the way. If the store is "slammed" please do not expect the cashier to suddenly stop serving the people in line and go find your item. Also, what is in store A may not be in store B. Why? Because of the different types of "customers" in the area. What sells in area A may not sell in area B and vice versa. Another thing to remember, Dollar Tree does NOT stock holiday stuff up until the day before the Holiday. They usually stock the Holiday stuff 4-6 weeks BEFORE the holiday and usually the last shipment of holiday stuff comes 2 weeks or more BEFORE the holiday. WHY? NO WAREHOUSE! Remember-they are NOT Wal Mart. Think Consignment. Thus, if you see it, BUY IT NOW!. read more
