But the place has really bad shelves some are broken, opened, not organized, and spilled Yesterday i saw a disaster first i saw opened things like a frickin lollipop there were not organized sprite cranberry and coke fridge the item are bad quality i squeezed the panda stress ball and it exploded Also i went to the school supplies for a stapler and yellow paint was spilt on the floor with a sign there are barely any employees like janitors i feel like this place needs a remodel or shut down because its a mess there are old vending machines. The gum ball is probably expired Also this place is bad and weird because its dark it needs more lights The employees are sometimes kinda racist because im mexican and the cashier was talking more to the other customer who was black. The prices are so low like in the toy aisle there are no lights i dont know why. Like 10 dollars for a hockey game the sign look like 999 but its 9.99 the tags are bad But over all its kinda great i mostly go here because my mom takes me and i help her get clothes i mainly also go here for clothes. I only recommend this if you need clothes.

First, this Roses discount store is located in the first shopping center in Lexington, called the…read moreEastland Shopping Center, built in 1956 on Winchester Road near New Circle Road. Roses moved in after Big Lots vacated the location for the Hamburg Shopping Center. Next, we noticed that Roses has a lot of clothing clothing geared towards irregular products like pants, jeans and jackets, and they have plus sized clothing for women and men. Also, they have Christian themed & Black Pride themed t-shirts. So, if you're offended by either, don't stroll over to the clothing area. However, if you're into one of the above, you might want to check it out. During the recent Thanksgiving holiday, we needed a large foil pan to cook our Thanksgiving Turkey. Sure enough Roses had several sizes, which meant that we didn't have to fight the crowds at Hamburg. I believe I paid $3.00 for it. I'm one of those that like the holidays, just not the crowds and traffic jams. So, I'll swing by Roses for simple stuff like basic wrapping paper, tape, candy, and so forth. Finally, the employees are friendly, but I tend to get a long with everyone, and I'm Deaf. Sometimes, it's how we come off to people. In other words, you get, what you give. So, try smiling more, and make a simple comment like, "It's cold outside or are you ready for the weekend?"

The staff here is so helpful. We came here looking for a dresser and found one! It was delivered…read morethe next day. Delivery was only $45 and they brought it up our stairs for us. We have been looking for a dresser for over a month and all of the furniture stores are back ordered. Some of them wouldn't be back in stock until end of November! We didn't want to wait that long. Another Mans Treasure sells some of their items right off the floor. They do have some items you can order but just like all of the other furniture stores they could be back ordered. Expect 12 weeks for those items. And they do not offer returns, exchanges, etc. they have big signs at the check out stands. They also have a large range of items from brand new to antique and inventory is always changing. I will be back when I am ready for my next piece of furniture.

I was super excited when I first went in here. Lots of cool pieces at super low prices. I wanted to…read moresee more actual antique-type items and they only had a few of these and they weren't interesting to me. Most everything they had were new items and some had some major flaws. But what really excited me was that they had some cool framed paintings at what I thought were good prices. Yes, they were reproductions, but at least they weren't made in China. We bought a big 3' x 4' Van Gough reproduction. It was cheaply framed, but for the price I thought it was fine. However, I didn't count on two things: 1. I didn't think to actually touch the painting in the store because that is rude. However, once I got it home, I realized the oil paint is tacky to the touch. It has been weeks and it won't dry. So, dog hair and lint stick to it. 2. The frame is SO cheap that it can't support its own weight. It was displayed on an easel in the store but as soon as we tried to hang it at home, the frame promptly broke. I called and spoke to a manager and she insisted that the painting was dry in the store (um, I am pretty sure paintings don't go from dry to wet again) and that the painting was hanging in the store when we bought it (not true) so it should be fine. She claimed that it must have become wet again by us taking it home when it was raining (it was dry and sunny when we bought it). She did not offer to refund or replace our purchase. If their items are so cheap that they fall apart when you get them home, then it doesn't matter how good the price is. I don't think I will buy anything here again.
