The store sign is as retro as the rest of the strip mall block and has remained a steady place for affordable Japanese imported goods. Compared to other stores in the country, this one is spacious and features an excellent inventory for all to explore. The store layout is simple, but clean, organized, and extremely tidy. Their kitchenware and home goods are my go-to and the office / school supplies are always a hit. Every few weeks the selection of goods changes, so while they have a wide range of products, keep an eye out for seasonal goods like snacks, stuffed animals, and holiday items. From quirky gifts to household items, there really is something for everyone here. Gone are the days where everything was a $1, but most items are priced right around the $1.50 mark and up. I don't know how it's going to look due to the upcoming tariffs, but fingers crossed that the price tag stays relatively the same. Their budget friendly concept means folks will still keep coming, Because parking is in a large shared lot, it's never an issue finding a spot. It may lack the new bells and whistles of its sister location in Cinco Ranch (#2), I'm happy they've managed to expand to offer additional unique options to the Katy-Houston area. When it comes to discount stores, Daiso always has my vote. ____________ (#1) Katy Asiantown. Cinco Ranch. Mason Road. It's the new frontier. (#2) https://www.yelp.com/biz/daiso-katy-5

Yes, I understand inflation, but not something very little and simple. Sorry, but I might as well stick with Daiso, 99 Cent Only, and Dollar Tree all nearby. These stores all have their pricing points on things of 99 cent and up. Daiso has a lot of good things for $1.75, and other pricing points. Wished I could support this store, but may just have to step back.

Asked them for help with the best suggestion for a water softener to care deeply for appliances that are new, and gave a few suggestions and information on the Houston area needs for home care, given we moved from CA. Delivery- 4/5 The positive: Communicative and called ahead of time to let us know they were 30 mins away. What needs improvement: The delivery men mentioned that they were NOT given the correct tools to finish the job of leveling out the panels on the fridge or what was needed for installation of the fridge upon delivery, because they "switched delivery trucks on them". Unfortoley, that leaves us the customer, waiting for them to come back and finish the job they were paid for. It's been a week, and we are still waiting for them to come back and level out the panels on the fridge. This is either the delivery men's lack of preparation before delivery or the owners' lack of structure to ensure delivery has what they need for all to go as needed.

Barbi never offers discounts on her own DDs, but this store surely does…read more I wouldn't say that it's Barbi's favourite store at the moment is DDs, it's probably Dollar Tree or Five Below, but in terms of discount stores, this is definitely up there, and one which she does tend to go to on a semi regular basis. When she sees a new one has opened or finds one that she didn't know existed, she will usually have me take her there and check it out. She liked this one and it had lots of good things on offer, so she had good things to say about it. I can see why because it's a pretty good store. She likes the name too because it sounds sexy much like her - well she doesn't just sound sexy lol. Anyway they usually have good discounts and good merchandise and are usually one of the better and sexier discount clothing stores out of all the ones she goes to, and believe me when I tell you that she goes to them all.
