Located in a…read moremini strip mall- sometimes it's hard to find a place to park convenient to the store although there's plenty parking out of the range of the store due to Walmart close by. Accessibility can be challenging- no wheelchair access - limited accessible parking spaces. I had a hard time accessing the inside of the store due to double doors that are not accessible friendly however the inside door was open. Inside the store there is an abundance of all kinds of merchandise- toys cards Christmas items- cosmetics cleaning products- beauty products- kitchen items - all items clearly marked as $1.25 which is very reasonable. There are lots of lots of different items - some jumbled together making it harder to move my cart done the aisle.Some of the merchandise was organized very well - like the card selection - school items &'some beauty products. It's like a maize to maneuver through the aisles. Noticeably not as much selection of cold and frozen items in the refrigerator freezer section as other times. Merchandise still a bargain at the prices but the customer service could be improved- as I was looking for particular items the team did not intervene to help - there are many very good cleaning products- kitchen ware. The prices and merchandise available makes up for the inconvenience of the parking & accessibility. The young lady at the cashier did smile and said" have a good day" & that customer service made my day!there is a Cato's - Verizon - cricket - among a few other stores plus the Walmart. A convenience store that has gas for vehicles- a Bojangles also in the plaza.

It does go up and down depending on management. I asked a store employee why so many things unmarked. He said that Ollies does that. They can not put a price on everything. It is so buyers have to take it up to the register to get price. This is just stupid! The employees were great. The manager was right at me when I told the cashier about things not being priced. Nothing. Get a new manager! Not unless he has come in to this store and trying to get straight. I would have bought more items if they were marked!

I have never seen a sidewalk that dirty. A New York rat would think that the sidewalk should be pressure washed. The trash can outside was looking at full in the rear view mirror and covered with flies. I don't even want to describe the smell but it is a mix of rotten chicken and motor oil. I am trying to be good to the environment and limit my carbon footprint by using my own reusable shopping bag. I was told that I would have to leave my bag with the cashier or I would be removed from the store by force. That was my last experience with the nasty Family Dollar on Raleigh Road in Henderson North Carolina. I will never go back there again even if there is a terrifying nuclear holocaust and it is the only store left standing.
