What are some reasons why you would want shop at a bra store vs going to Victoria Secret (which i would classify more as a lingerie shop) or vs picking up whatever thing you can find at Kohl's? 1. Actually getting sized and realizing, like most women, you are wearing the totally wrong size and that's why you think all bras are evil. 2. Personal service. Someone else that knows what they are doing to measure you and listen to your issues and bring you all the things then help you pick which ones work 3. Getting to try on many different styles. See above. 4. They keep a wishlist for you and your size on file so you put someone else could buy you that bra that you just couldn't pull the trigger on. 5. You can make an appointment. Seriously, I've been putting this off for so long and then finally made a same day appointment and went in. Having a commitment helped me actually go. You can walk in too but if it's busy (there are only 2 fitting rooms and 2 attendants at this location) then an appointment is going to go ahead of a walk in, I assume. What are some reasons to avoid going bra shopping? The expense is a main one for me. Years ago, I made peace with the fact I'm never going to be able to wear flimsy Victoria Secrets things and even more robust bras you can find are usually not the right size. Nope, once you go European bras, you can't go back! Now, there are cuter bras in special sizes but the price might give you a heart attack. One I tried on was $169. Before putting it on, I had to talk to myself and say, you might have to buy this infernal thing if it solves all the problems and looks good. Fortunately, the color was doing nothing for me. I dared to ask if it came in any other colors and they said they didn't have any of the other colors. This leads us to the next issue with going someplace in person--they are not going to have the stock that online shopping has. But they will order things for you if they can and that saves you the trouble of having to buy a bunch of stuff online yourself and then having to return it if it doesn't work out. Lastly, on that note, sometimes the store price is still the full MSRP but the bra might be on sale elsewhere, so there's that risk/drawback as well. Maybe it's not feasible to buy all your bras at a bra shop but, it's definitely worthwhile if you've had a recent change in proportions or are ready to burn all your bras for some other reason.

I came to this location for a fruit tray to take to work for a meeting. While I shopped and…read moreselects my fruit tray, I decided to also pick up a veggie tray. We, my coworker helped me set things up as I was in the meeting, she opened everything and set things out. All of a sudden, everyone in the meeting looked puzzled. What is that smell? I finished my statement and I went to assist with setting things out. What is that smell? I thought it came from a co worker sitting next to me . I went in the other room to dis over that it was the veggie tray that I had just purchased. The veggies did not look old or anything, which is why I selected it. Of course I am now the joke in the office, but maybe they won't ask me to bring anything else . Of course I returned to veggie tray to the store and yes I did ope it so they could smell it too. Kroger is a reputable store, but I will be real careful about what I purchase at this location as it is closest to my home. This was a very disappointing experience. As soon as I place the bin on the counter the women immediately asked me if it's all NWT. I said it's a mix of NWT & designer. And she rudely responded "we're only accepting NWT. Did you bother to read the instructions when signing up?" After I explained to her I did and that this bin is NWT & designer. She checked on her computer for confirmation from manger. (Found it strange she checked with the manger on computer & not on phone). After a few minutes she says they're not accepting any women's clothing. So it went from her telling me only NWT to none in a matter of 10 minutes. If you're not accepting women's clothing then take it off your sign-up instead of wasting my time & gas.
