Comparing the same snacks to items I saved like $0.45 then some items was actually more then Walmart. So my input is I did not see much of a discount on the grocery side. I believe the Dollar Stores are more of a psychological view that because it's a Dollar Store it should be cheaper. Now on the other hand I am sure things like for parties and house hold things would be a lot less expensive then Walmart. Would I recommend this store yes and the overall set up of the store was very well put together.

A store with stuff…read more Dollar General is one on the many dollar type stores around here. Lost of different stuff and you will never knew exactly what kinds of stuff you will find inside. The store is quite clean, at least cleaner than many similar type of stores, and the employees actually helpful. It's pretty easy to navigate through the aisles. We managed to find several things that we have been looking for and at a very reasonable price. No most things in here aren't really a buck but most of the stuff is pretty cheap. Certainly not a store to find expensive, unique or quality stuff. The whole point is cheap stuff. It can be hard to locate one particular item but it is kind of fun to look around. A cheap store to find stuff. Lots of useful stuff and occasionally you might get lucky and actually some really good stuff. And it is possible you will get really lucky and actually find something you really need.

Pricing is fair for snacks, canned goods, some drinks, potato chips, birthday cards, stationary and cleaning supplies; however, you can find better deals at Walmart and Aldi. Regardless, There are times I will just spend the extra money here so I don't have to deal with the riff-raff at Walmart and Aldi or that entire parking lot fiasco altogether. This store supplies just about anything you could need. They carry frozen food items, beer and wine, minor automotive supplies and oil, kitchen utensils, hand tools, kids toys and books, pet supplies, bread / milk / eggs, party decorations, helium filled balloons, tobacco products and so much more. The staff here are always friendly, but I feel bad for them because I know that they got it pretty tough due to the lack of help from corporate and because of the bad apples who shop at the store. Customer flow here can be heavy at times and most do not have the best manners. I hate to see this place get trashed by customers because their is just not enough employees to keep up with the mess. Many times the one or two employees working have to take care of everything including stocking/organizing the shelves. For the most part I'm very satisfied with my experiences at the store. Staff do a great job and they get me in and out quickly. Even with the bad apples coming in and wrecking the joint, I am still able to find and get what I need when I need it. Okay, I like dollar stores and the like. In CO. we don't have but very few…read more. This one Dollar General , I think, is the best and has the most variety. From baby nippers to canned goods and National brands- they have it. They even carry "Funfetti" cake and icing. The rock bottom prices are great, but it even gets better with the sale items. A real Bargain store. The cashiers and stock person are very helpful they will check out their stock in the back if need be. I am in there whenever I go to this plaza, which is also great. The store is very clean, mopped and swept often, and no Florida smell (what ever that is called) If you arrive by 17-92 (not I-4) getting out of the plaza is kind of a pain. Make a U turn at the light. to get back on 17-92 or just take the I-4 way home towards Orlando. Have fun and don't be afraid to go- the whole plaza is a find, including Debbie's and Tony's Pizza (please see my review for Tony's). Thanks Yelper's and Have fun- I think it is worth the drive.

The store had some boxes about on the floor, but it looked like it was a lot of merch to be put out for the holiday. There was a lot of merch packed into the smaller store and the prices were obviously very reasonable. We got a couple of things and were on our way. Overall: A- A little bit crowded with stock still being unboxed, but lots of fun stuff to be found.
