Probably the best Dollar Tree store i have been to they have so many items to choose from the store was kept well organized and everything was easy to find even know with the social distancing they make it quick and easy to pay. there is also plenty of free parking in front.

It's disgusting that two days ago I was there looking for hand sanitizer and Lysol .The manager told me that all was out yet she was guarding two trollies for a man that told me he has his own business .They both told me to order on line what a joke outline was out of stock and backlogged .I went today again and of course nothing was in the shevel. The same manager told me there was no deliveries .As I was walking out a woman had a wagon full of stuff.I asked if that was to be put on shelve she said no it's mine.I said how could you take all the stuff when there is a crisis .She told me she worked there and was allowed .This useless manager checked her out .One case two cases but filling the cart that the boxes were flowing over .A limit should of been set .Shame to the useless manager and the store owner .Store should be closed down.Customers support these stores not these people and to board all the stuff .I have other words but I wouldn't put it on here .Shame on you ..you pieces of shit.God doesn't like ugly

I'm super amused that Yelp wants me to review every single placed I've checked into…read more The best thing about Deal$ is the puzzle section. Most of the puzzles are terrible photos that someone shouldn't have been paid to take. But there are a few awesome 500 piece puzzles that are a buck each. I highly recommend the jelly bean puzzle if you're up for the most frustrating hours of your life. Also the office supplies are pretty great. But there's always a very long line.

Deal$ or Deals, as it is commonly known, is a $5 and under discount store located right next to…read moreFamily Dollar, its competition. Located on 14th Ave in a mini shopping center called Whitestone Shopping Center with a parking lot in College Point, the Deals$ store is much larger than the Family Dollar. The Deal$ chain is owned by my favorite dollar store chain, Dollar Tree. Compared to the Family Dollar next door, I feel the Deal$ store is more organized and has a store "feel" to it with actual Deal$ flyers at the store's entrance. The day I came to visit, I was looking to buy some inexpensive hangers and I found a ten pack of hangers for, which seems to be a better deal than buying the Dollar one for maybe three hangers. Each aisle has similarly-grouped products so it is easier to shop and look for specific items. The right side of the store starts from home items and the left side of the store is food and drinks. There is usually only one cashier working, but there maybe two during times of necessity. A lot of the products sold at Deal$ is also sold at Dollar Tree. While Deal$ doesn't seem to be too bad of a place, the feeling of things costing me over a dollar doesn't make me feel too good because I'll always be pricing everything in my head to see if it is actually cheaper than if I bought it somewhere else. When items are a dollar, I only need to think: yes or no? Because of these reasons, I'm still missing Dollar Tree. PRO: Discount items, parking lot CONS: Products sold may be more than a dollar

My goal was to find great meat deals to then build my holiday dinner menu but also great deal for everyday dinner or special occasion menu ideas. Place was huge. Think Costco but bigger and more warehouse like. They cram so much stuff everywhere. It's like paradise for all in the culinary world. We even bumped into another chef friend shopping with his family. We enjoyed looking at each aisle to see what was available. The large walk in fridgerater (with freezers) had so much meats and produces options. Pricing was decent for large slabs of meats but they do add up. I did gasp when I saw the total on the receipt but we did save alot as we can cut/freeze them.Highly recommend shopping here if you have membership. Got a 17.34lb of rib eye and I did manage to get about 17 steaks out of that. 11.67lb of boneless skinless pork belly which we thinly sliced with our slices machine at home. Do be careful with can items. We didn't do a throughly check when we grab a case of tomato sauce #10 cans; half was dented. But it's not like we could had open the case (sealed cardboard box) to check as well. We saw later that the side had a rip= dented. Also, lots of items (canned goods as well) on the shelves/racks can be dusty. 3 stars because of this issue. They are also particular about their return policy- have to be done at the same location. We took the loss as we weren't coming back to that location and tried to return at a closer location to home.

Things you need to know:…read more You need an account to shop here. Be prepared to push heavy carts around. The cashiers have yellow shopping bags if you ask for them. They are not readily offered not their existence announced. There are free ice packets at the exit of the store. Lots of stuff is sold in bulk but many items can be purchased in smaller amounts. You mut scan your card when you enter. When you get to the checkout counter, they have to scan and count all of the items. You should consider this when you pack your items onto your cart. Otherwise, your check out experience will be long and miserable.

Stepping into Flushing Discount Store feels like diving headfirst into a kaleidoscope of bargains,…read morewhere you're just as likely to stumble upon a must-have essential as you are to discover something delightfully quirky. This store is your typical discount haven, except, well, it's a bit roomier than others, giving you extra space to navigate and marvel at the eclectic mix of items they offer. The owner is a gem--one of those friendly folks who's not afraid to let you know that he's about to shut down for the night. On one visit, he delivered the closing announcement with the kind of gentle firmness that only a true retail veteran can muster. I appreciated the heads-up; no one likes being caught mid-aisle when the lights go out. They've got all the essentials you need, from household goods to school supplies. Need a mop? Check. Running low on notebooks? They've got you covered. This store is a one-stop shop for pretty much everything you could use in daily life. But the pièce de résistance of Flushing Discount Store has to be their live betta fish section. Yes, you read that right. Nestled among the cleaning supplies and stationery are these vibrant little fish, each priced at a cool $4. You can also grab some fish food for another $4 and a small plastic tank for--you guessed it--$4. It's like a tiny aquatic ecosystem of bargains. I still remember my first encounter with this fishy phenomenon. It was during high school, and my sister, driven by an urge to adopt a betta fish, dragged me to this very store. There we were, standing in the glow of fluorescent lights, contemplating the lives of these $4 fish. I couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for them, swimming in circles in their plastic prisons. All in all, Flushing Discount Store is a quirky, budget-friendly wonderland where practicality meets the bizarre. Whether you're in desperate need of a mop, a math notebook, or a spur-of-the-moment fish adoption, this place has got you covered. Just make sure you don't lose track of time--unless you want to find yourself locked in with the betta fish!
