Also, the staff has always been courteous AND available. This may come as newsflash to Deb but employees do more than just stand idly at their register waiting for customers to approach. They are busy *elsewhere* in the store, stocking merchandise, etc., as per their job description. The store is not overly big that a simple "hello" will not bring their attention to the register when you are ready to check out, there is also a bell there that you can ring that will alert them, maybe ol' genius Deb couldn't figure this out. In all the times I have shopped here I have not once overheard the staff speaking badly about their jobs, maybe it was the negative energy Deb was giving off that caused her to interpret it this way... or maybe it was HER cranky self they were referring to ? And what a ratty thing to do, to come on yelp and say that and then condescendingly preach that they should be glad to even have a job. Well, that was written over 2 years ago, so hopefully by now Deb has taken a long walk and aired out that sack of farts she was self-righteously carrying around. Anyhow, I give this Family Dollar a 5 star rating, for the kind of store it is, it delivers. Thank you.

Never realized this was a framing place until recently, when I actually needed to frame a bunch of…read moreitems and did a search online. It blends right into the other small antique shops on Partition St, as they have a large collection of decorative iron hooks and door knockers outside when they're open. They also have other antiques available inside. The shop is run 100% by the couple that owns it, and they do all the framing themselves. I brought them probably 5-10 items these last few weeks and they were very helpful in picking out frames. Prices were very fair, and they were able to find solutions when what we picked turned out to be too expensive. Everything was done within a reasonable amount of time as well. I don't have much time else left to frame, however I will go out of my way to use these guys again!
