I was able to take a quick look around and saw none of the nice and interesting items on the Joshua Tree website (which I checked out after my failed visit), no eye-catching vintage or antique pieces. Maybe there is a second floor where the website stuff is? There was a second person who had stopped by randomly as I had so there's obviously enough interest in at least Tuesday hours. When this place IS open they close at six, so if you work till five and want to visit you better leave work early. Youngstown needs more antique / vintage / resale stores; right now Akron is the place to go for vintage shopping. Doubt I will give this place another chance.

Been awhile since I updated. We no longer do our weekly shopping here, not because of anything…read morewrong, just the cost factor. I still use the pharmacy, and we will shop here for certain items that we can't get elsewhere or when we get gift cards. So, while not every week, I'm still a regular. The store has remained cleaned and well stocked with excellent staff. Can't complain at all. As it is the pharmacy staff I have the most regular contact with, shout-out to them. I've had multiple times where I've had issues with my insurance over something, I've had to get something ordered in that's not stocked, etc. and they've been nothing but helpful. They have gone out of their way to help get things fixed or figure out a problem. I also have zero issues with getting an egg-free flu vaccine every year. They are a wonderful group, the lot of them.

When we returned to our car, we were greeted by a delightful Boardman denizen sitting on the sidewalk, leaning against the bumper of our car & chain-smoking, smoke billowing around our car & filling our lungs. After checking reviews online, it seems I'm not the only customer who has encountered expired products here. There were no signs in the store disclosing this issue. When I brought it up, the owner questioned me aggressively and even raised his voice while I was still shopping in the aisles. He asked why the bottle I was bringing back was empty, which felt unreasonable--I wasn't sure if he expected me to bring back a half-finished drink. The situation was embarrassing and uncomfortable. I wouldn't have made a big deal about a refund, but the way I was treated made this experience unacceptable. I hope the business improves on how customers are treated.
