They have everything you could imagine a store like this would have. The staff, at least when I have been there, are friendly. The store can seem a bit cluttered and slightly unorganized at times but they have what you need in a pinch. Is a great place to get your holiday gift wrapping items of which we took advantage of this year. Not a bad place to walk around and see what cheap stuff they have. I know we will continue to go here simply because it is cheaper to buy the items I mention above here than to buy them from Walmart next door.

I was able to take a quick look around and saw none of the nice and interesting items on the Joshua Tree website (which I checked out after my failed visit), no eye-catching vintage or antique pieces. Maybe there is a second floor where the website stuff is? There was a second person who had stopped by randomly as I had so there's obviously enough interest in at least Tuesday hours. When this place IS open they close at six, so if you work till five and want to visit you better leave work early. Youngstown needs more antique / vintage / resale stores; right now Akron is the place to go for vintage shopping. Doubt I will give this place another chance.

After checking reviews online, it seems I'm not the only customer who has encountered expired products here. There were no signs in the store disclosing this issue. When I brought it up, the owner questioned me aggressively and even raised his voice while I was still shopping in the aisles. He asked why the bottle I was bringing back was empty, which felt unreasonable--I wasn't sure if he expected me to bring back a half-finished drink. The situation was embarrassing and uncomfortable. I wouldn't have made a big deal about a refund, but the way I was treated made this experience unacceptable. I hope the business improves on how customers are treated.
