Yes, there is a FredMeyers and a McKays grocery store in Brookings, but they can be pricey if your needing organic foods. This grocery outlet usually has so many organic and vegan options, I never go home empty handed. I also love the fact that they offer new inventory every 2 days. I wish other grocery outlets would do this. You never know what your going to find. Staff is friendly and checkout is a breeze. I will miss this store.

The woman that's usually ringing people up was having a big long conversation about the reason that nobody wants to work anymore is because unemployment pays them so much. Which is pretty insensitive considering most people that shop there are low income and possibly on unemployment. And I can't even tell you how many times I asked the checker to check the medication for expired medicine because not only have I purchased expired stuff there but every time I go there, I bring up a couple of medications that I noticed were expired. She probably puts them back on the shelf after I leave. Plus she needs customer service training, she's rude!
