I can only assume that the customer service offered at Dollar Tree is so horrible because they do not value a customer. I guess at a buck an item if you treat people poorly, there is always another customer to replace the one you just lost. I dealt with the manager Rich today. Questioned the coupon policy at register. He was called over. He was unfamiliar with the policy and as opposed to offering to check into it just said the store was too busy for him to deal with my question. I asked that he look into what I was referring to and he walked away from me giving me no indication of his intent. I followed him to his office confused thinking "is he going to look this up or is he going to ignore me? I stood there not knowing if he planned on returning or not. When I asked my mom if he was ignoring us he must have heard as he emerged from the office and said he was not ignoring us but rather trying to find the policy. When he did find it and I pointed to the line that explained acceptance of what I was wishing to do, he, without bothering to read or understand my question stated he was declining it. At this point I was totally confused as it was clearly written in the policy and if he would have bothered to read his own store policy he would have seen what I was requesting was acceptable. Apparently being wrong was an issue for him. I don,t know about you but even if something is a great deal, if you are being treated poorly,it just isn't worth it. read more
