I checked scammer lists, and the numbers are on it. These calls come from Bradenton, FL, and from TX. Once, a caller from DL Horton tried to "renew" magazine subscriptions I didn't have. I would avoid this company like the plague! These numbers are mostly associated with the area code 941, extension 896. Usually there's no one on the line when I say hello. Some of these scam calls say "DL Horton" and some say "Metro Media" and all appear to be in the same sequence of phone numbers. What they gain from this, I have no idea, but others complain of the same thing from these numbers. SCAMMERS! Steer clear.

I have found it impossible to call the local newspaper directly to discuss this. Instead, I am connected to the Philippines and am blatantly lied to. These people say they will reverse the increase but refuse to give me a written confirmation; instead, they tell me I should believe them.
