My GF found this place for me and i was quickly surprised at the lower than dealership prices from the start. Their policy is "No Haggle and no hidden fees". The staff are all on salary, so they don't care if you buy the most expensive or the least expensive vehicle. They just want you happy, imagine that!! The vehicles are almost totally from their rental fleet, so they have been well taken care of regarding the scheduled maintenance and up-keep. Everything is very transparent and up-front. The financing person also is salary so they have no incentive to up-sale you. The work with several banks so they get you the best rate. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience for me and I love my "new to me" car.

Budget Car Rental is a scam. I rent cars in the US very often, usually with Thrifty or Alamo. I've…read morealso used Budget before and never had major issues, but this last experience was outright dishonest. I rented a car for one day and purchased full coverage for peace of mind. The prepaid total was $92 and it clearly showed that everything was included. When I picked up the car at Miami Airport, I specifically asked if anything else needed to be paid and whether everything was okay. I was assured it was all set. I was in a rush, and the agent at the counter clearly noticed that. He handed me multiple pages to sign. I did check what I could, but I didn't have time to review every single sheet in detail. When I returned the car the next day, Budget charged me an additional $101. Only after that I found out they had added extra services without my clear consent: extra gas service option, supplemental liability insurance, extended roadside assistance, etc. I contacted customer support. They offered sympathy, but refused to refund anything and told me it was "company policy." So the only thing I can do now is warn others: don't use Budget. Choose a company that is transparent and takes responsibility instead of adding paid options without proper disclosure.

I rented from the Thrifty Car Rental off of Tamiami before and I received an invoice the day of return. With this location, it took about 6 phone calls, 2 voicemails that were never returned, and a rude gentleman later to get them to say they would "take a picture of the skinny invoice" and email to me when originally they had been telling me they could not email me an invoice only corporate could. They stated they could only fax it to me when I had my rental record #. Who has a fax these days?! Nonetheless, when I call them today with my office fax line is when they tell me they can't fax it but will take the picture and email it to me....This could have been done two weeks ago.... I did end up received an emailed invoice.
