This store is understaffed and under stocked. We are often left without what we have on our list,…read morebecause they are out of stock. And this happens weekly. We go West Falmouth or Westbrook a lot because this location cannot handle the volume. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the stock and design for the amount of traffic (especially in the summer) is not sufficient. This store needs to be redesigned and reconfigured to handle the amount of shoppers.

Your experience will depend entirely on what day and time you visit. For example, I went Sunday…read moreafternoon and it looked like there was an explosion. The cart corrals were overflowing and there was zero carts when you enter the store to shop with. I should have known and grabbed a cart from the corral, lesson learned for next time. As I shopped it became apparent they ran out of a number of items and hadn't restocked. This was the case with Oakhurst half and half, medium tortillas, meat on sale and bread from what I recall. I get it and they are short staffed but I need go back for that half and half at another time very soon because that's important. However, not to give away all my secrets, but if you visit mid morning on a weekday it's very chill. Not many customers, marked down meat is available and everything's fully stocked. You can get in and out much quicker and with less chaos. I greatly appreciate Nature's Place brand Hannaford products because they're either "free from" pesticides, nitrates or organic, at great prices! Hopefully they'll sign on new employees soon, the staff deserves some relief. I see many of the same friendly faces when I visit and appreciate the staff!

My review is based on the fact, I went to this store without a "mission". My family wanted to go in…read morefor something and I decided I would browse to see what they had to offer. It's astonishing that I have only been in this store twice, given the fact that I grew up in Brunswick...Anyway, i finally made it in. It's a smaller store, that feels like what you might encounter in a larger city. It was neat and clean. I couldn't really tell how aisles were organized, however, because I was browsing, it didn't stress me out. We encountered one staff member who "assisted" my sister and it was fine, very transactional, which is fine and again, what you might expect in a big city. Staff at the register were fast and efficient, didn't engage in too much conversation, just supportive of fruit pies I purchased. LOL They had a lot of offerings from some of our favorite local businesses! Standard Baking Company Little Lads Two Fat Cats Union Bagel The prices were competitive as well! They have fresh produce, meat, dairy, eggs, seasonings...pretty much everything you can find at Whole Foods but at a smaller more local scale. I can't wait to go back the next time in town.

How can I not when they carry products I... a) have never heard of b) have always wanted to try and had never been able to find before c) can't find anywhere else From healthy looking organic produce, to a plethora of gluten-free cereals, to the odd can of locally made beer that was sold out months ago in Portland, to frozen and refrigerated foods not carried elsewhere (like vegan salami! like vegan cheeses you've probably never heard of! like locally made - not just artisans from Cumberland County, but Androscoggin and Sagadahoc too!). Morning Glory is truly a natural foods store paradise. I drive out of my way to come here - I think it's probably the best natural foods store in Maine! - because there's so much right about this little local spot (prices, variations on themes of items, the smell [how can we bottle this up?], the candle and other home goods/gift options, the seasonal items, the staff seems more willing to help than ever before, even the space itself is welcoming despite it being overly crowded with shelves and people). I'm proud to support my local independent grocer!

I stopped in after searching for Hop Water and saw on the Hop Water website the Good Life Market sold it. I arrived about a half hour before close so I was one of few customers and ended up buying a ton and wanting more. First, I found a 4 pack of beer that had JUST been released in Burlington VT and then Portland ME (collaboration beer) and immediately grabbed it. Absolute score! I was super impressed with the beer selection, both refrigeratorated and on the shelf, plus N/A options, hop waters, mixers, you name it. Before I even made it to the beer section I was drawn to the prepared food because I was hungry and knew I would have to prepare something when I got home. I got smoked ribs (probably a half rack) for $11.99, Cole slaw and a broccoli bacon salad. They had multiple refrigerators and freezers with everything you can imagine, frozen Slab pizza, health drinks, locals meats, local ice cream, etc. I noticed a huge wall of local coffee so I will be going back to hopefully find espresso beans, which are challenging to come by. I didn't notice inside seats but that would be a good addition. For the ribs, I wrapped them in foil and baked at 350 for 20-30 minutes. I was so happy to find real food, prepped for easy reheating. I will definitely be back with my husband to order sandwiches and pick up more goodies.

Employees here are always friendly. Their food is always well-made and is of excellent quality. Prices are a bit on the high end hence the 4 stars. Pictured here is their Hometown Chef Salad and The Good Life Club. My stepson and I ended up sharing as the portions are huge. We even got 3 servings out of the salad. These two items are highly recommended. This market also has some fresh produce, several cheese options, interesting snacks and pantry items. Stop by and support local whenever you can!

Not all Walmarts are the same. In Maine, I think the best Walmart is the one in Scarborough. This…read moreone? Painful. The layout is confusing, the produce is sad looking (also - so specific, I know - but they don't carry many herbs; no dill or mint here, for example; very soggy looking berries), the overhead music is blasting so loud, the shopping carts are enormous and many seem to have one funky wheel, the space is small so the aisles are small and it feels like you're constantly in the shadow of shelves... I don't know, it's hard to explain. I think if you're looking for food/snack/grocery items, go to the Hannaford across the street (or the Shaws a quarter of a mile down the road). I understand the importance of this Walmart, seeing as it's ideally located en route to Sebago and you can stock up on all your camping/staycation essentials. As a local, I'd rather skip coming here entirely (even for using it as a convenient bathroom stop).

I am switching to a different walmart as there are 3 within range of me and my experience at the Windham walmart is usually horrible.

It was great - the woman from the distributor was perfect. What made it extra memorable was a calligrapher who added messages to each bottle purchased. This rating is specific to the Deli which I've NEVER had a good experience with. Only reason we…read morereturn is for Boars Head meats which can't be found anywhere else. For starters, they won't permit you to pre-order over the phone and direct you to the app, which also die NOT have an option to order deli meats. When you arrive at the deli, there are typically 4-6 employees standing behind the counter and not one of them will bother to acknowledge your presence. Certainly never any niceties. Instead, you'll find them shooting the shit tucked in the corner snacking on deli meats and cheeses. After multiple minutes waiting, One will come and ask if you've been helped because it's not obvious enough that I'm standing there alone, staring at them and no one has lifted a finger. This deli has to be the penalty box for Bow St workers because they all act like they're in a cage waiting to be let out and want absolutely NOTHING to do with patrons. They'll literally let meat roll off the slicer into a bag that ultimately falls apart when trying to remove a slice. Today, I got home to find a half pound of turkey ends. These guys clearly intentionally try to ruin days. Owners, PAY ATTENTION. This is on YOU.
