I had bags with me but they were underneath all of the items I was purchasing I told the clerk that I had bags under the items in my cart at the beginning. I got to the bags about midway through and he continued to put everything on the counter in front of his register. After everything was rung up and paid for, he went on to the one other customer in line behind me. No onecwas in the other line at the time When I asked him if he was going to bag my purchases, he said no - because my bags were not out on the counter at the beginning of the sale. Again, I had $75 Wirth of purchases on top of yhe bags. I am truly contemplating returning EVERYTHING and encouraging others not to shop at this store. This guy has absolutely no customer service skills. Evidently, he thinks that his customers are there to do HIS JOB ... and paying for the privilege. I shop there a lot for school projects and events ' -but, based on today's experience. I am not sure that I will in the future. I am tired of companies and their employees who could care less about their cutomers' experience and are just there to grab our money. I am so PISSED!

I scored a genuine leather flat cap from Meyer the Hatter for $25. When I got home, I looked up the original price and it was $125! Huge steal. I then also grabbed a vintage 90s style striped fleece henley long sleeve for $20. They had your usual vintage clothes and shoes but they also had everything from MTV Raps cards to every little accessory you could think of. Everything is neatly organized by size and color, which made browsing so easy and honestly so enjoyable. I really appreciated how intentional the layout felt. And then the second room... not only do they have 3 dressing rooms but HELLO NOSTALGIA. They have a TV and a Super Nintendo setup where you can literally play Super Mario in between shopping. 10 STARS. I swear shopping here healed a tiny part of my inner child. On top of all that, the women working were really sweet and helpful. Weekend Vintage is an absolute gem of a place. I'll definitely be back.

A little disappointed with the lack of men's clothing, it was limited to one circular rack. Tons of cute shoes and heels but nothing above size 9. Would return!

I actually still have the backpack somewhere at home & it held up well... 14 years later. Super spacious & held all of the many textbooks I used to have to carry around as a kid, with EASE. I honestly still have so much love for the brand & wear my shearling-lined Bean boots every winter, as well as their wicked good moccasins! I believe I had gotten the bean boots as a gift ALMOST 10 years ago and never thought about replacing them because to this day, they still look brand new! Very comfortable & WARM. Anyways, I absolutely love visiting L.L Bean in Freeport, ME & btw, you have to visit all their stores in this campus. They have their Flagship store, this outlet store, & speciality stores (home, fishing, biking, & ski gear).

I think we all know how pricey Bean's can be. Which is why we hit the sales when they come, every time. I saw such cute sweaters and jackets, and the keychains all the girlies were crazy for last summer. Those keychains are EXPENSIVE though - $26 for a small charm and loop of cord? Crazy if you ask me. I snagged one of the Three Potato Four keychains for $11, which I thought was reasonable. Every staff member we met was so incredibly friendly, so even if you don't buy anything, just browsing is still fun. They ask if you need help, wish you good morning, but it doesn't feel too constant which can sometimes happen elsewhere.

Having…read morejust moved to Portland a month ago, there were a few "missing items" and "empty spaces" in my humble abode that needed filling. My next door neighbor alerted to me this place and I'm so glad. I picked up four dining chairs (sometimes they are priced as a package deal with a table, but these were actually priced individually and separate from the table). I thought about getting some sort of lounge or easy chair to read in but I haven't converted to Maine vehicle yet, so my Mazda wouldn't fit it. Next time! A gorgeous coffee table also caught my eye, so that item was also purchased. I had to make two trips, but hey-ho. I think prices are great. Obviously, you're getting used items but isn't there something really charming about having furniture that has been lovingly used? (As long as it doesn't smell like a dirty fart) You could go the route of IKEA and I have totally done so on occasion, but let's admit it, most of that crap is crap. Old used furniture was made with love. I can imagine that prices may have climbed in the past few years, though I only have Chicago Salvation Armies to compare it to, and I think the prices are still better here than Chicago five years ago. Stuff probably comes and goes fairly regularly so don't feel defeated on an initial visit. I will definitely venture back here.

Not only did my son have a variety of desks to consider, the prices were well below what I thought would be reasonable. We will think of Restore-HfH first the next time we need home furnishings.
