Never been a frequent customer of Dillards .. all the years that I have either... Lived in…read moreFlorida... or... visited Florida... Dillards has never been on the top of my shopping list. There CAN be some deals. Sometimes. Many times there are no deals. Housewares, Linens, Luggage, Tableware are all overpriced and sitting at the top of that range that should be charged for these items. You can get many comparable and exact same items elsewhere for much cheaper. Shoes? Very well priced especially for their sale racks. Handbags? Some cute some very well priced and some in the stratosphere. Dillards actually caries real Luis Vuitton handbags and luggage but.... I am not an LV consumer. Clothes... great when there are sales. You have to watch for deals, coupons and price slashing before during and after holidays. I was just recently very successful with the purchase of a makeup bag that is perfect for my trip coming up. Normally I wouldn't pay $48.00 actually $52.00 for a makeup bag but I believe I will keep this one for quite some time. The lady that helped me in the cosmetics section kept me in her "sights" while I was shopping around the entire store... she didn't want to miss getting credit for my purchase. I liked her though... we had a laugh or two.

At first this store was very stocked and employees were great. I went there and found a product by…read moreaccident and was very excited. While placing items in my cart, I over heard the manager call another customer after she left the store, a batch. My head turned to see if I really heard what I heard. The manager, a heavy set, blondish haired man was still muttering about said customer. When i went to check out I was not greeted. What was said to me by the manager was "hand me all the bottles as you are not taking the buggy outside because customers steal them" I handed him 4 bottles (32 oz each) and he put them in one bag. I asked him to double bag it and he said one bag is fine. The bag broke upon removing from backseat at home and the bottles went everywhere. I purchased a total of 16 bottles of tea. 12 were in a box so they were easily carried into home. This store is rarely stocked. Also, FYI I did not mean the word "batch" but "b!tch" Auto correct changes words all time. I have called Dollar Tree Corporate Customer Service on 2 seperate occasions and have not received a return call or email or letter. Does the company care how their employees act?? I am guessing not. When I asked another employee what was up with the manager, I was told "he is just like that and to accept it". NO I DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT HIS NASTYNESS OR HEAR HIM SPEAK ABOUT CUSTOMERS THE WAY HE DID. WITHOUT CUSTOMERS COMING IN TO SAID STORE...SAID STORE WOULD NOT EXIST NOR WOULD THE JOBS THERE. They have cleaned up their act since the place was leaking all over the place into buckets. This one carries the chips we like, Utz BBQ, which oddly the others do not. They keep the place well-stocked but morale always seems low amongst the employees, not like it is a great job I know. Sometimes sketchy people wandering about the mall. For this reason they have to put poles on the carts so they can not leave the store, and they lock the bathrooms.

The sign over the last aisle said there was bread there, but there isn't, so I had to go back through every aisle to find it, and this in a place where Old Buzzards are trotting about with clenched teeth, in big hurries, on grim missions.

We purchased a holiday…read moremeal which consisted of a ham roll, Stuffing, gravy, green bean casserole and mashed sweet potatoes. The ham was extremely and no one ate it because it was chewy like jerky. The stuffing was mushy and not flavorful at all. The mashed sweet potatoes were good but the gravy was the worst paste we've ever had to eat. Basically this meal was gross and inedible. And to top it off all these food items were frozen dinner items. For a holiday meal I expect homemade items and not frozen gravy.

She also helped me another day i had a return. She was the only one that could help me with a return as I didn't get my card as yet. No one else could find the information, but Kristi found it very quickly! She went completely above and beyond to save these days for me! She was so sweet, kind, patient and very professional, and truly cared about making everything right for me. Employees like her are rare! She deserves a raise, an award, and all the recognition possible! Thank you for the best customer service I have ever experienced! She is a beautiful person inside and out! I thank Kristi so very much

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to actually walk through the isles ( 1 or 2 cartwheels) the isles were not so over stocked with items on the floor, or here or over there. I was able to actually see every item being displayed. I have been looking for crystals and rocks for so long and just about forgot about what I had been wanting , but then coming here I soon understood why nobody else has anything! They have so many crystals and so many different kinds of rocks and crystals and rocks! Prices are outstanding too! Not much of a "kids section" , but who cares they have entire other stores. Home decor is plenty and if you have any questions comments or concerns, worry not, their staff is always watching and ready for you every single step and turn you make! I look forward to emptying my bank account here every chance I get! :) GO VISIT YOURSELF!

Now if you ask anyone a question they will barely even look at you. I went into the store last night to make a return and the lady at the service desk jumped back like I was holding them up! Yes she even threw her hands up and jumped back. Now when you buy something for $60 and they will not even consider the situation, this is ridiculous. There employee handed me the wrong item. I got home seen that it wasn't what I had asked for and went back to the store to exchange and was told it could not happen. I will admit I made a mistake by not checking it but when you ask for one thing and they give you another they have some responsibility. Terrible customer service even with some of their products being cheaper I will no longer shop at this store.

The aisles are much wider than we are used (large footprint) to in Orlando so it offers an elevated experience and is easier to navigate. This is not over-the-top-hospitality; but, the fundamentals (that are absent and accepted in other businesses) and something that we recognized when entering this Publix store.
