Looking for baby back ribs and I was trying to find the briskets, ribs and other large meat cooler and my sister laughs and says no they have baby backs half rack wrapped and in the shelf next to other pork products...they only had 4 half racks in styrofoam and Saran Wrap...lol no full racks unprocessed. But don't think too many retired people are making large amounts of ribs like we do in Texas. Cashier and bagger were both retired lady's but service was friendly and didn't take too long to check out.

We were on our way to family in Ocala early in the morn when i knew it was time to stop for some coffee(the wife doesnt do wel without her java). I did a quick search for a spot, and saw a dunkin nearby. I exited the highway and headed that way. as I got closer I grinned. I had never been to the Villages. My gal didn't know what that was so as we pulled up and parked she said, "what town is this". I just played dumb. We walked into the Brownwood square and I had to tell her. She really didn't know much about the Villages so I filled her in. for my first impression it was great. The farmers market wrapped around the square and trickled out to the side streets some as well. They had the usual thing you would hope for like produce and pieces of art made by locals. But it had other things you dotn see often like some more quirky artisans, multiple flower and plant booths, empanadas, and the one that hooked me, a both that had all kind of mushrooms to eat. We swing by here about once a month for the farmers market, and enjoy it every time.

I understand, they really only want to sell the high profit fake pills, vitamins and potions that have no scientific backing. But to get customers in, they really should stock the produce department, the dairy department and the grocery department. Today 12/29/25, the produce department was empty at 10:00AM. No lettuce, No celery, No kale, No pre-washed lettuce or salads. Sprouts is the only store that carrier a certain non dairy coffee creamer. Usually, I buy 3 when I go in. Today, they had 1 in stock. If this Sprouts was truly a "Farmers Market", I'd worry about the farmer. Truly a disappointment.

Waited at the back counter while one staff member was filling some spice jars and never acknowledged by her. It wasn't until another staff member came over that she asked if she could help us. We got the Strawberry Trifecta iced brewed. She never asked if we wanted any sweeteners so we just got it how it came. It had a nice light refreshing taste but did need some sweetener to help bring out the flavor. I think I'll get a bag of it next time I'm in store.

They have bbq seasonings, special mixed salts, flavored sugars, all kinds of loose tea options. There are accessories for cooking, stealing tea, and other kitchen gadgets that would be useful for their product. Loved loved loved this shop! We went in after dinner for our anniversary.
