They do seem to be trying. BUT the culture of customer hate is just too strong. And now, not only do they have cameras and people who stand over you commenting at you while you ring up, they've installed this ghastly like military grade prison wall that you have to scan your receipt into to leave after you overpay for your groceries. While a peanut gallery of miserable people make commentary about how you rang this up wrong or you put this in the basket or you didn't hold the receipt right. And may god help you if you need anything from the customer service counter. Cuz that really pisses them off. I can walk here but after today I swear I will literally drive across town and/or starve from now on to avoid this place. I work my ass off. My job is demanding, stressful and exhaustimy.
