As you might know, there it's a Big Y-like supermarket building that OSJL is using. You might recognize a building if you have been to a Big Y location that is housed in a similar building. If you wonder why, this store used to be a Big Y supermarket for a number of years before it closed and OSJL took over that location. OSJL (the closeout store) has been here for about 12 years now. Not to mention here, even before Big Y arrived, it was a short-lived Shaw's supermarket for a few years. Ironically, Big Y still owns the property although the supermarket chain left the building. The lease isn't up until 2022.

They regularly have sales and also do some customer loyalty discounts, so it's easy to get great deals. The thing that brings me back most consistently is that the staff is honest in answering my questions about which colors or clothing styles are flattering for my body type & skin tone. They are super kind about it and also really helpful when I'm looking for a specific item type. No one has ever tried to upsell me or talk me into something more expensive. Always a fun time!

She showed me some of the beautiful trays. They will come in handy with all of the guests dropping by for the season. I was really wowed by the huge selection of unique gifts that Smoochie Bird offers. Do yourself a favor AVOID the malls and shop small at a fantastic find. The young checkout staff need to be trained or possibly retrained on how to properly bag groceries. The young man, although polite, who checked me out today, threw heavier foods on top of my bread, which would've smashed my bread if I would not have removed them and put them in another bag. In addition, I had to ask for an extra bag to put my eggs in. This was after he left them on the conveyor belt and handed me my receipt and looked at me like he completed his task. This was odd behavior of a checkout person, Maybe the young man was having an off day or something, but the grocery shopping experience still needs to account for bagging groceries appropriately to prevent damage.
