One of the dealers was selling that book and I saw that I was featured as last seen entering Strasburg Emporium!! My wife had remarried, my daughter had children of her own and it took a day and a half to shave my beard off! So bring breadcrumbs, maybe tackle a building one day at a time. Lots of COOL stuff though from 1st Edition book from the 1930s to brand new Hit Wheels, to White House Christmas ornaments and even antique glassware! The booth with the cans if sterno and pots & pans came in handy too! Amazing adventure and I left quite a bit poorer.

And if you're gonna buy that much meat I suggest to you two things. 1. Bring a cooler 2. Control yourself When we got into that butcher room, I felt like I was a kid in a candy shop. I think I might have just given a vegetarian a heart attack, but honestly.... The prices, the selection, the freshness. If your gonna want to indulge in some meaty goodness (which I have been trying to limit more and more), might as well do it with gusto. Jason, our butcher that day was a meat magician! Perhaps, one might say... a meatgician. Yes, there was no way to get through a review of a butcher without making one or a dozen different things sound dirty; but bear with me. He gave us the run down of the briskets. He trimmed A LOT of fat off this one brisket so that we could purchase a lighter piece of meat. He told us all about the aged meats, their sausages, their scrapple, and how they make their hamburgers and how it was different then a regular supermarket. I BELIEVE it was their hamburgers that were leaner (90 - 10). In any event, Jason was kind, informative, and just a general pleasure to be served by. So far we've eaten a few pieces of meat from crabills. The ribeye was spectacular, the NY Strip was enjoyed by a coworker of mine, and the brisket in T's words was "Fresh AF." The only thing that really wasn't to my taste was the scrapple. For me it lacked seasoning and punch, as compared to the scrapples I've had before. Overall, if you're looking to stock up on meats, and want to take a short/long journey out 66 to Strasburg; I'd DEFINITELY suggest stopping by crabills. Just remember my two suggestions: 1. Bring a cooler 2. Control yourself Oh, and they have other local products too ( jams/jellies etc.) AND They have 2 birch beers! Obviously they took my extra credit assignment seriously. They seemed to have pretty much everything that a traveler might want or need, including snacks, a deli, and more. Many other reviewers have mentioned BBQ, and an outdoor sign, advertised this as well. Somehow, my husband and I both missed this -- probably because it wasn't lunch time for us yet! This is very much NOT a pharmacy that I will ever recommend to anyone for any reason! This kind of thing can cause medical emergencies or even kill someone who takes heart medication or anything that is important for someone to take on a very tight and regular schedule to keep from dieing! I thought the entire point of a pharmacy was to carry at the very least the most common medications and be able to fill prescribed medications in a timely manner but I guess this location doesn't operate like a normal pharmacy and they should make that publicly known and notify the medical professionals in the area not to send time sensitive prescriptions to this location!
