This place is definitely a one stop shop which offers a bit of everything. Their prices are pretty reasonable. We were just driving around just taking in the view and enjoying the day. We drove by this place and it looked new to me. We needed paper towels and decided to go back. I also bought a few items that I didn't know that I needed. It is really the only supermarket type store in the area which was perfect stop for us.

This was a very busy store on a Friday afternoon. An employee loudly told me not to step into the water so I turned and went the other way. One employee was taking care of customers as a full service register and another employee opened the mostly closed Self Check Out and operated it for the overflow of customers. I walked out with deeply discounted Summer BBQ items at next to nothing. Can't believe the item were not removed from sales floor or sold earlier this week. I was happy.

Sone last a little longer than others but not many stay for more then just a few months. Something isn't right with Dollar General if nobody wants to work at a Dollar General store. I have seen Dollar General stores be dirty and over crowded. The Dollar General in hawley always has a bunch of stuff out front getting dirty from dirt flying around the parking lot, people's cigarette butts and garbage that people throw on the ground not just in front of the store but also in the parking lot. There used to be a trash can and a bench in front of the store but store employees and people from the public would sit there and throw cigarette butts and garbage on the ground around the neck and leave it there. People were complaining to the township so the bench and the garbage can were removed. Now the garbage and cigarette butts are still littered outside the store and in the parking lot. The 1 employee heavy set blonde lady has a nasty attitude toward people for no reason! You can walk in the door minding your own business and she will kick you out of the store for no reason or she will give you a nasty attitude if she's in a bad mood. She's nice to some people but not everyone. This particular Dollar General is very crowded and the prices are a joke! There are many things there that I can get cheaper elsewhere so I decided to stay away from Dollar General stores. It's not worth my time or energy to attempt to shop there without having a problem with a store employee or because I can't find something that I know is normally in a certain aisle but they continuously move things around and I hate it!! Sorry but I don't want to spend an hour in Dollar General just to purchase a few things. They keep building new Dollar General stores but they can't get anyone to work at their stores for more than just a few months except for a few wacky employees who stick around for awhile.
