There are price tags but with all of the talk of discounts, you ask out loud, "So how much do these shoes really cost?" And then comedian Nate Bargatze strides up to you as George Washington, just like in the now viral SNL sketch. He puts a hand on your shoulder reassuringly. He replies: "Nobody knows." So it was with that confidence that my husband and I strode to the cash register, supremely mystified if we would be asked to pay $50 or $250 for the three pairs of kids shoes and one pair of adult sneakers. (Thankfully, the bill came to closer to $100.) We checked out the new Zappos outlet on its opening weekend, when it was advertised shoppers would get an additional 30% off their purchase. And we found an outlet with a decent number of shoes for adults and kids, plus several racks of clothes as well. I was in a bit of a rush, so we didn't take too long to look, mostly zeroing in on what we were there to find. This outlet was hopping, but everything seemed well organized and clean. The only confusion came from the prices, with signs saying there were even more discounts than the 30% off. I would definitely come back here when I had more time to shop.

My favorite thing to find here is food! Filling the pantry with my favorite staples at a discount is great. We've purchased electronic related items from 30-50% off. Since having a child we haven't had to pay full price for any of his essentials. Thursday is when they announce what they received in shipment on Facebook. They also have a $25 giveaway every week (I've actually won once, so it's legit).

This used to house the Peddlers Mall and other places. So the building is very old but the layout was nice and organized in my opinion. This store basically sells what other stores could not. They price everything regularly priced but you get an additional 40% at the register. They have just about everything, home appliances, clothing (Walmart clothing mostly), food, pet food, beauty products, you name it they most likely have it. I'm always on the look for a good bargain and I almost never leave empty handed. My recent visit, I snagged some Starbucks cups cheap. Just make sure you inspect your items carefully because some have damage and all sales are final. They have security here as well so shoplifters be aware. I definitely plan on coming back here again and again. This is the only Louisville location (so far) there is another one in Jeffersonville. I have not been there. You may or may not find great things depends on what you're looking for.

There isn't an detours or turning around it's so tightly packed in there. Selection is what it is. It's a DAV that as many know they work with what donations they receive. So you kinda have to walk in with an open mind unless clothes shopping. But even then I wouldn't anticipate being to specific. All in all a typical DAV store. This one is kinda smallish or maybe it just felt that way just because it was anxiety inducing cramped in there.
