The parking lots are usually pretty full, but you almost never have to wait in a long line at checkout. They are one of the few stores that actually utilize having multiple checkout lanes by having them manned and open. The butcher has always been very kind. It's also a very clean store. Just a great grocery store for our community

We love this Kroger because they have the shopping carts with the holders for car seats, and the store is always cleaner than the ones in Louisville. A guy (his name was Anthony, long beard, with a piercing) was so so helpful to me the other day while I was trying to pick out cheeses for a specific event. He seemed very knowledgeable and was willing to come over and help me figure out what I needed without me even having to flag someone down. I have never gotten expired or rotten food here like I have at the Walmart in town, and with the exception of food recalls, my in-season produce is always in stock and easy to find.

We had been watching their facebook page and saw that the special today was fried Pork chop, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, beans and cornbread, and fried apples. The special is $12.99 and comes with two sides. We each got different sides so we could try everything. Pork chops were tender and juicy, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and beans and cornbread tasted like grandma made them, yummy and delicious! We both joined the clean plate society and all but licked the plates clean. Follow their facebook page now! You will want to know about the upcoming specials!

The BBQ was outstanding. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring, was incredibly juicy, and had the perfect bark. The ribs were exactly how I like them--tender with a slightly sweet, sticky sauce that complemented the meat instead of overpowering it. The macaroni and cheese was good, but honestly, I'd make the drive again just for the BBQ. We've tried BBQ all over the Louisville area, and B & N Food Market is now our favorite. If you're anywhere within driving distance, it's absolutely worth the trip.

Heard about B&N from a friend. Road trip to Bagdad for lunch…read more My wife ordered the half rack of ribs with 2 sides ($23). I ordered the brisket special that also came with 2 sides ($19.99). My wife's ribs were huge and the sides generous. The ribs were smokey and very meaty. These are not baby back ribs, they are very big. Our only complaint is the ribs were enveloped in a pretty tough crust. Quite chewy. BUT once you broke through to the meat it was tender and very tasty. Her sides were Mac and cheese and green beans. My wife thought the Mac and cheese was just OK but the green beans were seasoned very well and she loved them. My brisket came with two thick slices with a nice crust on the fat side. I really enjoyed the brisket. My sides were the Mac and cheese, and pinto beans and cornbread. I agreed with my wife, the Mac and cheese was OK, but the pinto beans and cornbread was very good, seasoned nicely. There's no real handheld menu. You walk up to the counter and there are big pieces of paper taped to the glass case that serves as the menu. So you get in line, and as you move forward staff comes out and takes your order. You grab a seat and your self serve fountain drink if you want one. They bring your food to you. Other than ordering and food delivery, everything else is self serve. Desserts and soft serve ice cream are also available as self serve. All staff are very friendly and accommodating. They were extremely nice and patient with me walking through the whole process since this was our first visit. BTW, be prepared for communal dining. Very few single tables and they go fast. You pay once you're done eating. Nice small town folks and good food.

As I have gotten older sometimes convenience out weighs going to the store and facing the frustrations of no electric scooter carts available or the store being out of what I intended to buy. My successful change has been enrolling in the Walmart Plus program and shopping at home online from my local store at Walmart.com The advantages of shopping this way: I place an order online and have the delivery made directly to my door. I don't have to search the store for hard to locate items, the Walmart employer has the tool to find each item. If they were out of the item it gets shipped to me for no extra fee and arrives within several days. The disadvantages of shopping on Walmart.com: I never order perishable items such as meat or produce. Occasionally the employee pulls the wrong item, i.e. can fruit in fruit juice vs .can fruit sugar free but returns are welcome at the Service desk in the store if I really care about the error. I still shop in person in the garden center, or produce but shopping online has saved me alot of gas, time, and frustration.

I once saw them put milk out for clearance on regular unrefrigerated shelves... the produce, and meat always looks meh. If a product bursts in shipping, they don't take time to wipe down the surrounding products and will just place spoiled food covered products on the shelves. I just haven't been impressed.

While this place does carry name brand items, they are mostly not "original recipe"... for instance they had Stove-Top Stuffing but it was the Cornbread variety... that kind of thing. Otherwise they carry a ton of off-brand items at low prices so I can see the appeal. I grabbed some Chips and Honey Roasted Peanuts to compare them to Kroger Brand and was pleased with the Chips.. not so much with the Nuts! One thing I took special note of with their amazing Hispanic Food section. They had Latin American Sodas, Canned Goods, Dried Goods, Cookies... lots of things I'd never seen before... it was great!

This station has become very hard to get to because of major construction on Interstate I64 and the road work on the overpass. There is also ongoing construction on Mt Eden Road that makes both entrance and exit from this station difficult. The only thing that is under control of Circle K is the cleanliness the station. I'm not sure if this has suffered because the number of employees has been decreased due to slow business or if it is not a priority but it still counts in my book. I have found other stations that are more convenient, lower priced, easier to get in and out of to give my business to. This review only warns that if you get off the Interstate to use this station you may be disappointed.
