The inventory is never reliable when you are looking for products that you've specifically bought there in the past and can only be disappointed not finding it again. The staff are constantly leaving and new people only seem to last for a very short time. Aldi must have a severe problem retaining personnel. We bought a lamb roast a few weeks ago and upon unpacking the smell was so bad that the odor stayed in our kitchen for hours and we returned the product and got a refund but not even an apology, I asked the salesperson why this would happen and was told that it was hit or miss at times, I don't feel that a $30 dollar lamb roast should be hit or miss and ruin your dinner plans. We only go to Aldi for a few products that we know they usually have and then finish the rest of our shopping at one of the major supermarkets or the coop in Rutland. Too bad Trader Joe's is 90 minutes north in Burlington. There are many Aldi stores that we've been to in other states and always had great experiences. I hope someone at corporate reads the comments and turns this Rutland store around from 2.5 stars a D to 4 or 5 stars an A

The only place to sit was on the cart that was not working . After I was there for maybe 15 minutes an employee with a bad attitude asked me what I was doing and I told him I was resting and besides the cart wasn't working anyways. He then came storming over and picked up one end of the cart with me still sitting there, not giving me a chance to get up. I politely asked him to let me get up and please be nice. At this point he said something I can't repeat and dragged the cart to the charger. I realize he might of had a long day but I didn't deserve the attitude

He was shoving furniture around and near chased us out of the furniture section. Pushing a heavy flat furniture box right at my childs feet nearly knocking her down and right behind my back. I turned around to see her pinned up against large standing piece of furniture. The manager never apologized. He just glared wide-eyed and said "I was watching. I have kids of my own!" This employee should not be working so closely to customers that if they take a step back they are going to get hit by what he is kicking around. Especially near children who often move abruptly and sporadically, especially when frightened. This is a threat to public safety. I will NOT be going there again. And I don't suggest going there with children. It is not a safe place and does not uphold community integrity.

She should not be upfront checking customers out with this type of personality. She may be a good worker but should not be at the storefront representing the Vermont Country Store/Yankee Surplus with that type of attitude. She should be in the back room stocking shelves with no communication or interaction with customers.
