There were actually two cashier lanes open and a couple of other people out on the floor keeping shelves neat and restocking. Must be because they've hired some retirees in the area? Well I'm not sure, but this is so unusual in similar stores to have personnel. The store is large, yes, but aisles are marked. And ifyou're looking for a few of those items they're already claiming will be in short supply for the holidays, come here. I "scored" some cranberry sauce.... Shh... don't tell anyone!

Currently laid out with Valentine's in their seasonal department, you can expect the green of St. Patrick's Day to arrive promptly on February 15 followed by Easter and so on. They understand their market and the seasonal stuff rotates appropriately. The rest of the store is quite standard. Party stuff, paper goods, kitchen cleaning, some edible items, bathroom and personal care and even a few over-the-counter medications. The kitchen area was particularly useful and we also replaced the trash bins for the bathrooms that somehow didn't make it onto the moving truck. $1 per item! Note that they only issue credits for returns. [Review 10509 overall, 276 of 2019.]

Scrubbies, which I cut in thirds, are great for washing dishes. Color-safe bleach is much cheaper than OxiClean. Boxed milk -- both almond and 1 or 2% -- tastes like regular (though my daughter adamantly disagrees.) And soap: both name-brand bar and brand-x hand is much cheaper than what they sell elsewhere. For $1.25 I'll "splurge" on products I may be unfamiliar with. Charcoal-based toothpaste with its minty flavor works great. Some hair masks and styling gels, not-so-much. Too many Dollar Tree outlets near me in FL are understocked and dirty. But then there's this one on Cleveland Avenue. It's a large store, with a lot of merchandise. What brings them over the top are their baked goods. Thomas's English muffins! Entenmann's donuts and cookies! Arnold's bread! So what, that's it's a day or two old. $1.25!!!

Wrapping paper, beauty products even toothbrushes and toothpaste. Yes, lots of the stuff for sale here is cheap but you get what you pay for. Prices are clearly marked and much of it is now $1.25 instead of $1 but inflation is happening and there isn't much to be done about it. [Review 19264 overall - 1613 in Florida - 234 of 2023.]

While there I noticed a hand lotion product that I usually buy at the local Publix store. It was an off brand , but the same product with twice the content , 16 Fl Onces instead of 7.5. While waltzing down an aisle I spotted a large lonely bag of buttered popcorn. It appeared so lonely and sad I just had to buy it. You know , to nibble on while watching a Saturday Hallmark Movie. Lol. In total , I purchased six (6) items. Total purchase price , $7.50 + tax. I thought to myself , when was the last time I made a purchase of 6 items for less than $8.00 ??? I was so excited I felt like a little girl enjoying her first ice cream cone. lol Of course , being a man , I don't usually get excited. ( Unless my Team wins the Super Bowl ) lol. There was a short line in front of me but the lady cashier was sooo speedy fast at ringing up every item that I was out of there rápido. All in all I had an enjoyable experience shopping at Dollar Tree. It was In & Out ... without the burger and fries Lol. I'll be back Dollar Tree. In these inflationary times I found a place where my Dollar goes a long way ... The Dollar Tree !!!

Merchandise is scattered around the floor & shelves look like a tornado has gone through the store - and each one of these operations in Lee County is maintained with the same disregard for sanitation. I suppose they will continue to do well because there will always be a lot of people who are willing to put up with the appearance of these shops in order to buy things for $1.25. No one can be blamed for looking for a good value, but whoever owns these properties Just seems to have a complete disregard for the appearance of these places or maybe they've tried in the past and just decided it's not worth it customers throw junk on the floor. I recently returned from a trip to Oceanside California and had to get a few things that had been confiscated by the airport Security folks. by comparison, the store in Oceanside, California could be compared to any Publix or other shop where people would enjoy spending a few minutes to pick up simple supplies. That description cannot be applied to any of these in Lee County.
