With very few exceptions, the employees at Dawson Rd are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Every time I shop here, the level of customer service is shockingly low, I honestly don't know if it's a management issue, an issue with the area, or both, but it's consistent. The absolute worst areas are the deli and seafood counters. The employees there treat customers like an absolute burden or the enemy just for asking for service. It is a deeply uncomfortable and weird energy for a workplace where people are being paid to assist the public. If you hate working here that much, let someone else have the job who actually wants it. The only saving grace of this store is the meat department-the guys back there are always friendly, polite, and helpful. I've also run into a couple of kind associates in produce. But for everything else? Drive the extra distance to the Hwy 19 location. The staff there actually knows how to treat people with basic respect.

Even the main number just rang. When my daughter finally got through to someone in the deli department (the 1st time) she was met with a very rude and unhelpful individual. I had call from another city in order to speak to a manager. THEN, I still received an email reminding me to pick up the tray on the original day, after the manager said that she would change the information. My daughter called back the next day in order to make sure that the tray would be ready on the day needed and she STILL couldn't reach anyone on the main number or on the deli number after callin five (5) times and letting it ring. VERY frustrating. She has to now drive to the location today and hope that the tray is ready for pick up. I understand being busy but I have experienced busy stores in metro-Atlanta and have never encountered such poor customer service from Publix. Hoping that they improve in order to save the Publix legacy.

I frequently shop here for my dad although there is a Piggly Wiggly in Montezuma I prefer this location. It's clean and it's "deodorized" meaning you don't smell bloody meats. Some grocery stores have that mildew old smell. Not this store. Floors, countertops, and freezers were clean. Freezers and shelves were fully stocked. Mind you this is Easter Weekend so it was busy. Parking lot was full. Cashiers on post and there are 2 self checkout lanes. The Deli was busy. I glanced at the hot bar - fried/baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots , biscuits, and banana pudding. Customer service top tier. Cashiers greet you as you walk in and at checkout. Today marks the eighth time in a row that we have ordered groceries from this Walmart and not received the baby formula that we ordered. This is not an exaggeration eight times we have been charged for formula that is $11 per bottle and each time the groceries are delivered the formula is nowhere to be found. The formula isn't just the only consistent item that doesn't show up. Every single time the formula is missing and two or three other items as well, not substituted not taken off the list because they're out of stock. They literally charge us for it and it's not there. How hard can it be to work at Walmart? The answer is not hard at all. In fact it is probably the easiest job on the planet, but these people seem to screw up literally everything they touch. You have a digital list and are literally scanning the barcode of each item before you put it inside the cart and so once you're finished and all the items the person has ordered haven't been scanned most people would go back and get the missing items. Not only can they not complete simple mundane tasks that a four-year-old could complete, but they also hire the same incompetent people to stand there and and get paid to watch me check out my own groceries and then demand my receipt at the door. I was like no I'm driving to Americus. The deli, fruits and veggies are on the right side of store. Everything was clean, organized and stocked. Everything was available I shopped for. Cashiers were all friendly. Social distancing was enforced - staff did not wear masks or gloves. Maybe it wasn't required. I was there at 9:30 AM it wasn't busy. Majority of the customers were Senior Citizens. And this could be due to the time of morning. Most Seniors are out early... If you have a Harvey's card use it to save. The card is similar to Kroger's card. I look forward to shopping again!

I was with a group and we stopped in for some hotel supplies, but happened to be there the week of the hurricane, so water (our main need) was scarce. We did manage to get some bigger bottles which was nice. I didn't really shop for much else, but it's a nice store, with self-checkouts and regular checkouts, and everything a Publix has!

Respectively, the receipt lists $6.64 (x2) and $4.74. This is potentially -$4 for me. The check-out was complete by 10:43:54. (The store seemed clean, and the associates seemed friendly). One of my main reasons for preferring the self-checkout is that my attention span stays neat and I generally spot discrepancies immediately. All of their self-checkouts were already, and disappointingly, disabled for the evening. This might read a bit dramatically for some; but I'm crying on the inside.
