I wish I could say exactly how I felt about this establishment and the people that work there, but I would probably lose my job and everything else. Today marks the eighth time in a row that we have ordered groceries from this Walmart and not received the baby formula that we ordered. This is not an exaggeration eight times we have been charged for formula that is $11 per bottle and each time the groceries are delivered the formula is nowhere to be found. The formula isn't just the only consistent item that doesn't show up. Every single time the formula is missing and two or three other items as well, not substituted not taken off the list because they're out of stock. They literally charge us for it and it's not there. How hard can it be to work at Walmart? The answer is not hard at all. In fact it is probably the easiest job on the planet, but these people seem to screw up literally everything they touch. You have a digital list and are literally scanning the barcode of each item before you put it inside the cart and so once you're finished and all the items the person has ordered haven't been scanned most people would go back and get the missing items. Not only can they not complete simple mundane tasks that a four-year-old could complete, but they also hire the same incompetent people to stand there and and get paid to watch me check out my own groceries and then demand my receipt at the door. Not a single attended register. Everything out of place. I did not apply or work at Walmart so I expect to have someone else check out my items. Self checkout takes jobs from people that need them. Asked for a manager before I even thought of writing a review. The manager never appeared, so here is my review: The Americus Walmart is a high-volume store, basically, they have a monopoly within our smallish town. Stocked items are generally/always sparse, while a lot of people seem to frequent the store. I'm betting this particular store is a high-profit store. Today, though, had me write this Yelp. The restrooms! I try not to use the restrooms unless an emergency, anywhere I go. Today I tried to use the back-of-the-store restroom. Disgusting, unkempt, toilets full of oooo, and when I tried to flush one of the toilets, nothing. It seemed the restrooms were not cleaned in a very long time. I was there around 2 p.m. I left the yucky back restroom and went instead to the front of the store. Same experience, but by now I decided to use whatever was available. The floors were cruddy, same stuff ooooo as the back restroom, in two of the toilets. The paper towel machine was open and the towels inside the open machine showed wet imprints of people before me trying to get their towels. Especially yucky during COVID. When returning to my cart, I asked an associate to find the manager to alarm management--after many moments, I left, no manager, so my only recourse is to Yelp. When I returned home, I felt compelled to take off my shoes before wandering my house! It was disgusting in that store today! Prior remarks say it all...the one that says this Walmart is clean...no, it is not and I shop there often. Because Walmart is the "only game in town" there are limited shopping choices! AWFUL !!!!! The manager's are horrible !!!! I had one cashier that helped(MICHAEL). It seems like all the upper heads hang out and cut the fool all grouped together. The cashier's should get more respect than they do by these so called upper heads. The place is ALWAYS filthy and they never have anything you need. Someone needs to come in and clean house and get rid of the ones that think they are in charge. read more

I have lived in Americus my whole life and I have been to many Walmarts from here to California and this one is for the worst Walmart I have ever been in in my entire life. half the store it's racist you can't get no one to help you and they don't keep inventory up. We would rather drive to the next town over to buy our groceries. read more

I do not usually do reviews, but today I am since I cannot get a manager on the line nor did one appear when I asked for one. I went in to return some items at customer service and it is ridiculous the experience I got. First of all the first lady was already rude to the people before me, I get to the register finally and another girl comes up. Her name started with a T ( I cannot recall the name itself) but she acted as if she was mad about doing a simple return. She is already unpleasant with her attitude, then she's slamming everything as she scans it, rolling her eyes and then when she asks me why am I returning these items and I tell her she makes a face like "WTF" and rolls her eyes again. Sweet heart be glad it is people like me who kill things like that with kindness. All of those customer service people need to be replaced. If you do not like your job, please find a new one because the unnecessary rudeness is what gets people dogged out. read more

My local non preferred Walmart with no customer service whatsoever! Cashier was very sweet but the manager seemed to have something stuck up her who-ha and cared not one ounce for what i was going through! I went through the garden center for checkout to make it quicker! Little did i know my entire day would be lost to the Customer Service Desk! I need to contact the better business bureau and report their price tags as a bait and switch tactic! The label on the item and receipt read the same but the bar code numbers are not! How is the customer to know? When the guy at the garden center was ringing me up I thought it was going to be atleast $23 each (i had 2) with taxes. Nope, the register was at $35 and some change just for one seat!!! He said to take pics and talk with the manager!! With other customers in front of me and waiting for over 1 hour alone for the manager to say i know what that (BBB) is! You can have your money back! Really? Not going to even honor the price tag of what the customer sees? It is their job to let their workers know what item goes with what bar code for a correct price and they wont do the one job they are paid to do! Like WTF? Needless to say Lowes across the street had it for the same price, nothing crazy at checkout and i was glad to be Lowes patron! Walmart managers with an attitude can kiss my dust!! Im not one to complain but do your job and understand where the customer is coming from and have a sweet disposition atleast! Try to explain to me what happened! This store gets one star, and that's only because I have to at least choose one. There is not one person in this store that is willing to help a customer. They will stand behind the customer service desk and talk to each other while ignoring customers standing at the desk. I've had one person close the register in front of me while I was waiting in line before. This happens over and over. Don't even think about trying to get any fabric cut. I've stood there for a half hour before and watched employees just walk by me and not even care that I was standing there waiting on help. I've actually called the main number from my cell phone while waiting to get fabric cut and still had nobody show up. I've witnessed men standing in the gun section waiting on someone to open a case, and I think they actually left. They won't keep items in stock, instead if there is one item that is damaged, they will keep fronting the item on the shelf to keep from having to do a damage report and re-order the item . The bathrooms are filthy to boot. read more
