Piggly Wiggly AKA IGA Supermarket is a small town staple. It's been around as long as I've been in…read morethe world, over 50yrs. The produce always fresh at this location. I frequently shop here for my dad although there is a Piggly Wiggly in Montezuma I prefer this location. It's clean and it's "deodorized" meaning you don't smell bloody meats. Some grocery stores have that mildew old smell. Not this store. Floors, countertops, and freezers were clean. Freezers and shelves were fully stocked. Mind you this is Easter Weekend so it was busy. Parking lot was full. Cashiers on post and there are 2 self checkout lanes. The Deli was busy. I glanced at the hot bar - fried/baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots , biscuits, and banana pudding. Customer service top tier. Cashiers greet you as you walk in and at checkout. The owner was walking around greeting you as he walked by. Very friendly guy sorry I didnt get his name :) Ellaville is a very small town where everybody knows everybody.
