At every other store, they usually make sure you put your number in. Its the first thing that pops up on the pin pad but not at dollar general, you have to ask to put your phone number in and thats also how digital coupons are done. She finished ringing up my big order and I had already put the bags in my cart and paid when I realized I didn't put my phone number in and I had bought a lot of things on sale. The cashier told me there was nothing she could do about it and then she called, "Next!", for the next customer in line...trying to push me out of there. At shoprite or any other grocer that you can use your phone number...if you forget to put it in, you can show them and they will adjust what you paid for.
