They did not put out the burger that was on sale but had plenty of the burger not on sale. Called the store and hit 3 for dept listings. Hit 3 for meat dept. Someone in the store paged the meat dept that had been closed since 6pm. . Based on the high non sale price I f the other burger, we decided for 3$ a lb more we decided to purchase the lobster that was on sale. Went to the counter. No one working or available to sell us some lobster. Asked about that and was told they left at 6 pm. We came in for burger left with bologna and millk and wylers lemonade. Not sure why they advertised 10 pm but close down access to the meat and fish. Very frustrating. Suggested selling selling the 85/15 or 93/7 burger that wad available in place of the 80/20 but no one was authorized to make that simple logical decision. very disappointing that the management on site is not authorized to make the same decisions that fay shift management is authorized to make. Operation is focused on the dayshift management team, and customer they service and has nothing in place for management after dayshift goes home to take care of customers that manage their lives to non core hours. New store is very confusing. Vegetables are stacked so you have to pull from the top. Lo d the store but labor issues preventing customers from being able to purchase advertised items is a constant issue.

The customer service woman has no customer service skills whatsoever. She is rude and cold and looks at you like you are a piece of dirt when you make a mistake at the self checkout isle when she tried to help me today she was condescending and said "I told you blah blah blah". I will not stand for that behavior. I will not put up with anyone being rude to me for no reason, because common courtesy and warmth to me is something that I practice every day. And when you are in the service industry you should know to practice that every day. Shame on the people that have this woman still working there and not taking her to the side and explaining how to practice good customer service. Part of my going into a business is the whole experience. And this experience is not a good one.

"No matter where I go I know where I came from…read more From the Bronx" (Jennifer Lopez) Trivia Time! Q: Name the only New York City borough that's part of the United States mainland? A: The Bronx! Besides Jennifer Lopez, the Bronx may be best known as the birthplace of Hip Hop music, Arthur Avenue Italian bakeries and grocery stores, Yankee Stadium and the NY Yankees. It sure looks like the owners of Oxford's ''The Bronx Deli" are Yankee fans, because their sandwich menu has over 20 choices named after Yankee stars or baseball in general, plus hundreds of NY Yankee photos on their wall. Some of the sandwich names are The Yogi with chicken and eggplant, The Babe with turkey and pepperoni, The O'Neill Deal with ham, sopressata, salami, and provolone, Bern Baby Burn with chicken, hot peppers and mozzarella, and the coolest one -Robbie Cano, Don't Ya Know with Roast Beef, American cheese and red peppers. We wanted to pick up something to have for dinner last night and decided on a Goodfella grinder ($10.99) with Eggplant, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, oil and garlic, and a side of tortellini salad with peppers and sun dried tomatoes. The grinder was terrific -a big loaf of perfect Arthur Avenue bread, plenty of fresh eggplant and mozzarella slices, and nice marinated red pepper slices. (Pro Tip - the Goodfella doesn't include marinara sauce -if you want that order an Eggplant Parmesan sandwich). The tortellini salad was very good as well, plenty of pasta and tomatoes in a balsamic dressing. Our grinder and side totalled just $17 -not bad for a dinner for two. We dealt with two employees. The young lady who rang us up was a sweetheart -super nice and much more engaging than the young man who made our sandwich. As a former Bronxite myself, I loved visiting the Bronx Deli and checking out the photos on the wall. My favorite was an autographed picture of Yankee royalty taken at an Old Timers Day -Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra and Casey Stengel. All are Hall of Famers. Go check out the Bronx Deli if you're either a lover of Italian food, a Yankee fan, or both.

Five stars forever for the homerun grinder. It's my favorite hot grinder of all time. That is all.read more

I was here most recently two Mondays ago on 11.3.25 but after midnight, so technically it was 11.4.25 with this most recent trip my experience turned from favorable to truly exceptional service above and beyond. The reason for this phenomenal change are due to Augusta & Ali. These two employees of yours are two fabulous individuals who you should be so happy that you have them working for you. They truly shined for their exemplary service in helping me beyond their primary job duties. I stopped in and bought a few snacks & toiletries and was quickly on my way. After I left, I was in my vehicle and of course checking things here on yelp while still sitting in the CVS parking lot for quite a while. When I tried to start my vehicle it didn't start. I called my motor club and set up for a jump. Long story shorter, the motor club called a couple times with delays and there i was waiting for an hour in a half getting cold. I decided to go back into the store to ask if anyone possibly had some jumper cables. Augusta and Ali were so freakin kind and selfless that they blew me away. Now lemme lay it out a little more for you. It's literally 2:00/2:30 a.m. in the morning/ night. They didn't hesitate to check and Augusta ended up having jumper cables in her car. I couldn't believe it. She said, "my daddy didn't raise no fool" I told her I can see that. Vehicle jumped right away and on my way home. I tried to give her and him some cash. They weren't having it. She said she believes in paying it forward so good fortune comes back to you. Told her I agree but still take the money. She wouldn't. Neither would he. I threw some cash into her car and told her I insist. I asked for their names so that I could recognize them online. They were extremely selfless and a true Blessing for me in my time of need. Oh, update, the motor club had called just before I went inside asking for help and had told me it'd be an additional hour in a half possibly or to leave the vehicle and they'd get someone there in the morning. They were having a hard time getting someone to me. Thank you thank you Augusta & Ali for your true service in helping me out big time. Love you two people. Shwanks The store itself is always in good clean order. Not disheveled like I've seen in other locations. There's a good size parking lot in a good location with all the faxt food restaurants close by including the Cumberland Farms right across the street. Always good service and always stocked up well.

The flavors were just wow! And I love that they slightly grill the roll - it totally completes the sandwich. They have a great menu, different varieties of food. I'm definitely going back to try the Halal food. Happy we have a new deli in town!
