But, they later go on to contradict themselves. We came here to finish up grabbing those items that we needed for the weekend. We had made multiple stops elsewhere and figured since we weren't able to snag them there, we'd have better luck getting them from here. Of course, that was true. Everything left on our list to get, was in house here. I also went off and did some browsing of my own. I like to hit the clearance section to see if there might be a steal. Most Walmarts have a centralized clearance section, but others have where a department might have an end cap that has their clearance. This store had a combination of the both. You just had to keep your eyes open and pay attention. Back to how my Dad and brother contradicted themselves. They had said that this store, even though smaller, carried everything they needed. While walking around grabbing the items we needed on the grocery side, my brother said something along the lines that he liked an item, but they didn't carry the brand they used to. Funny thing was, the item and brand of that item was literally right in front of us. Maybe they were out of it on their last visit, but I have no way of confirming that. At the end of grabbing everything, I opted for the self checkouts. I'd rather do that than having to wait and interact with anyone else.

Came here to pick up a few get together essentials. Lucky for me, they were having a sale of types and just about everything I needed to pick up fell into that sale items. Of course, I grabbed a few extra things. That happens when you decide to go up and down the aisles aimlessly. As the name implies, this is a great hometown market. They also offer a slew of other services in here. One that sticks out is this is a place where you pay your utilities. Which is great since there is a senior living facility nearby.

I suppose you can say that this Sunoco almost sits at the center of the town. A mere block or so from the County Courthouse and right next to the small corner park. The lot for this establishment is small, always has been, but it suffices. Side story: I remember once when I was younger and had just gotten my license I stopped here for gas and while pulling out hit the fence to the park...no damage, just made the fence shake a bit. I never go inside the store portion of this as I am usually only here for fuel and try to get on my way to where I need to be. Most recent travel through it was time to fuel up and I chose here. Pulled right in, scanned my card, pumped my fuel and was on my way. My Dad says that this location is usually the lowest for fuel in the Ebensburg area. There are other gas stations, but they are mostly near the highways, this one is right in town.

Offering fresh deli meats and cheeses, when there is nothing else around and you don't feel like travelling far to grab a necessity like a meat or cheese. However, unless you are visiting or on vacation I doubt you would make it here anytime soon. It gives vacation vibes, a shop that you would step into to grab a cute souvenir or something to take as a gift. Prices, to me they are steep. But if you are willing to pay, go right ahead. They do have some great things, but a lot of it appears to be mass produced, even the prepackaged items that aren't fresh meat or cheese.
