It was nice that there was a bookstore in the downtown area and it was nice that I was able to be in that area, it had been a while. Some of the selection is limited, this isn't your full run bookstore. They don't have full sections, but what they do have for the sections seem to hit it right on the nose. My sister had put specific books on the list for her and they had several of those right in reach for me. I was a bit skeptical when I went to the children's literature section as it wasn't big and it looked picked over. That just made me browse through the store a bit more. I was able to look over the display areas and sections that were a bit more concentrated for areas. The employee I had the chance to deal with was very nice. She knew what she was talking about, and even though it were children's books she knew the subject of each book. She was particularly knowledgeable about the two books saying how much those are great and did not stay on the shelf long. The only bad thing about this place is that it is hard to find if you are driving through the area. There is no eye catching sign outside to let you know this place exists. There is a very small, paper made (I think), sign in the window. I literally had to go around the block twice before finally parking, and walk the sidewalk to be right in front of it before realizing where it was.

Lots to see packed into this space, and the owner has plans to turn the back room into a maker space/birthday party room! They have everything from Melissa & Doug, Green Toys, all kinds of puddy, books, games, craft kits, puzzles, fidgets, baby toys, etc! Don't let the unassuming store front dissuade you as it almost did us. Stop by and find your treasure!

After spending a lot of money there of the past few months and setting up subscription box (you know a regular paying customer), they heard that I sold a couple of books on ebay and told me they don't like flippers around there and were no longer interested in my business. Despite the fact that they gouge their customers on new comic book day by marking up variants etc from cover before the doors even open! Then they want to claim they are a community of guys just about reading and enjoying comics. What a joke. Sorry guys, but being rude to a loyal customer is just a dumb move. I'll drive across town to Comics World and go to Pittsburgh before I spend another dollar in your shop.
