Pretty much exactly what you would expect from a close-out warehouse. There's a little something…read morefor everyone and some deals to be had. Everything is set up on long tables that run the length of the warehouse. Things are more or less sensibly grouped together - bedding down at one end, fishing and outdoor supplies in one area, work gloves/gardening stuff together, and so on. Some things are really well priced, and I've never come across anything that's completely unreasonable. The highest prices usually come with Packer/Badger gear and plush throws. Your best deals come with evergreen items - things that don't go bad or change with the season. Campfire forks, fishing lures, and welding gloves will all be as good as they were when they were manufactured and will still work no matter how long they've been sitting there with the dust collecting on them. The "industrial-strength" sunblock for $1.99 that expired two years ago? Probably not so much. There's not a ton going on in the area, so if you need a break from your campsite it's not the worst way to spend a half hour.

This is an outdoor…read moreoutlet mall, but they had an outdoor fire going, which helped warm things up and added a cozy touch. The outlets were also still decorated for Christmas, which made it feel festive and welcoming even after the holidays. There's a good mix and variety of stores, making it a fun place to browse. Some of my personal favorites here are Old Navy, Nike, Vera Bradley, and Columbia. Like any outlet, though, it's worth looking for the true deals -- just because it says "outlet" doesn't always mean everything is deeply discounted. Since it's outdoor, definitely dress for the weather if you're visiting in the winter months. There's no real food inside the mall, but that wasn't an issue with lots of dining options nearby. It's also right off I-90, with easy freeway access and parking, which makes it a convenient stop. Overall, a solid outlet experience with a nice atmosphere and good store variety -- just plan ahead and shop smart!
