DT has the general items of any discount stores - some groceries, holiday crud, cheap balloons, cards, etc. It likely is not the establishment's fault, but more the clientele at this location. The last time I was there, merchandise was thrown all over the floor and it was just a general state of disarray. People don't have to behave like animals when they shop - that's the vibe I received from this particular Dollar Tree.

I get up to the register and the cashier was listless and you could clearly see that she was bothered and did not want to be there and that she really didn't want to deal with a customer, she let me know that. She told me that the Dr Pepper wasn't on sale until the 23. I have NEVER seen a flyer from Family Dollar that came out a week early. She even looked at the current flyer and told me this lie. Two days in a row, I have stood in line for an extended time due to only one register being open…read more Each time when the second register is open, the person operating the newly opened register has called on people further down the line rather than taking the next customer in line. People who had only been in line a couple of minutes were taken before those of us who had been waiting for an extended time. The second day, I said something and the lady at the register acted like it was no big deal that she was allowing people to cut the line. She actually waited until people of her race got in line, and then tried to make them the first at her register. Shameful. A neighborhood store in a multicultural neighborhood should at least attempt to be semi-multicultural.
