There was a great selection even though I know the pandemic delayed some of their inventory. They were having a small sale and I even picked up a few outfits for my mom! I love to get out of my usual thrifting bubble, some times you can find the coolest things in a different area than you're from. I've never had much luck with things or clothing from here, but they always knock it out of the park on shoes! Last visit I left with a designer pair of heels and I lucked out again this time. It's rare for me to find shoes in my size, in good condition and that I like. The fact that it happened twice has made me a believer! There are also lots of great shoes that aren't my size too. Two small complaints though, first the shoes at my local good wills are $2.99 across the board on the show racks. They put nicer shoes in glass counters and those cost more. Here they are all prices differently. The pair I found today was $9.99, which I know isn't a lot but they still a lot for used shoes that still has Ross stickers on them. I'm sure they weren't more than $25 new at Ross. Second complaint is they wouldn't take my discount card. I paid for a Goodwill discount card at the beginning of the year and thrift stores that aren't even goodwills will honor it. They wouldn't here because it was the wrong color. This may be an issue with Goodwill HQ, but I should be able to use my card at any store.

Not only did they have a lot of cute, stylish clothing pieces but my experience seriously makes me wanna come back to this location in Lawton versus others that are closer to home in SC. As I was shopping around I met these two awesome, super friendly ladies who helped me so much. They assisted me in picking out right styles and sizes for me and they were honest about what fit my body type so make sure I am walking out of that store looking my best. They were so helpful, I wish I got their names. They also engaged with their customers! A short small conversation as simple as where are you from takes you a long way in customer service. Thank you for making my first shopping experience at Versona-Lawton a good one. If I am in town again, im coming here where I know I won't walk out looking like a hot mess.
