This place has everything from indoor/outdoor furnishings, tools, and decorations. They have a little bit of everything and their prices usually seem to beat the big chain stores like Ace Hardware. You can also get your fishing and hunting licenses here as well as all your camping/hunting gear. Bargain Depot is like a discount life store, meaning, you can get a good deal on supplies for every part of your daily life from cooking to crafting and more. This store is a little cluttered, however, so come prepared to look around for a while, or just ask for assistance from the staff to save some time.

I agreed to buy the tile near $250 worth with Store clerk stating that I can return any unused tile for a refund NOT A STORE CREDIT A REFUND. Because there was signs on the door, counter, receipt, & throughout the store I kept questioning the policy he said no no you can bring it back with no worries any unused portion. Okay I decided to buy choose not to use any of it next day took the tile back because we changed our minds. The owner refused a refund although the kid that was working there told me otherwise the kid said I may get into trouble for this but, I will honor it. Why would he say it if he'd get into trouble? Anyways in the mist of refunding the store owner stopped the refund. NO REFUND AS PROMISED INSTEAD A STORE CREDIT! What is this? Why would I ever buy from a place that honor the customer is always right or even better the kid that said it said started the refund and owner stopped it the kid knew he was in the wrong. I told the owner that I will be filling a complaint with the BBB and blasting him online his response was go ahead store policy is store no matter what my sales rep said in front of 3 witnesses.

When I first came to this place, the owner was there and he was the nicest guy. We talked for quite a long time about different things. I ended up buying some goodies and left happy. That was about 4 years ago or so. Fast forward to 2018 when my sister was visiting from Texas and I was taking her to my favorite spots. I remembered my great experience from before so I took her here. This time, a lady was there and I mentioned how much I loved that store and turns out she's the wife of the owner (so she's the co-owner)... I was looking at some pillowcases and the pair was marked at $18 which I thought was a decent deal. A little high since other places go for less but I like supporting local so I don't mind. When I went up to the counter, she informed me that even though one pillowcase was marked for $18, it was for each.. so I was surprised the total was $36. The lady was rather rude and when I was pulling my card out to pay she said, "We are a cash only business and if you had been here before, you would know that'. I won't return. I can't deal with people who are just lousy at customer service. She could have said, "Oh I am sorry, we only accept cash" but instead, she chose to be a jerk. Of course, my sister was like, "Wow, and you said this place was awesome; guess not". It's always a sad thing when you rave about how great a place is then when you take someone new, the place ends up being subpar. I left that store feeling sad and for my money, I would rather go down the street to the many other antique stores. *SIDE NOTE* I wish I could give the man I saw the first time 5 stars because he was tops.

They've got quite a hodgepodge here. Old photographs, knickknacks, classic pinup playing cards, old…read moregloves (but most are way small), boots (way small also), etc. Personally I dig the collection at antique mall a little better, but it might be worth a look.

Probably also was Kansas-style "fresh," which means frozen that is defrosted and then sold at the higher fresh prices. Then one day, in a hurry, bought a ready-made sandwich to take out. Should have stopped long enough to read the fine print on the wrapper: It said the sandwich was four days old. I wouldn't serve a four-day-old ham and cheese to my worst enemy ... not even if it was free, unlike mine, which was extravagantly priced. Too bad Lawrence can't have a nice co-op.

I rolled in with over a dozen pair of jeans--including two never-worn, high-end designer divas that had been haunting the "maybe someday" section of my closet. You know the ones: too expensive to wear, too guilty to toss. At this point, they were basically emotional support denim. Fifteen minutes later, I walked out with cold hard cash. Real, actual Andrew Jacksons. No paperwork. No judgment. No shady consignment vibes. Just: "Thanks, here's your money." Boom. Done. Easiest hustle I've ever pulled. They even offered me 10% more in store credit--and yeah, I considered it. There were some fire pieces that almost had me breaking my own rules. But let's be real: my closet is already a crime scene. The mission was purge, not relapse. Bottom line? If your closet's bursting with regrets and "what was I thinking" buys, ATC is your no-BS exit strategy. Cool staff, smooth process, no pressure. I'll be back--after I survive round two of the great denim exorcism.

But the one thing that just really ticks me off is the fact that they want your clothes to be clean, in good condition and folded but if you're left with anything they won't take, they wad the item up and are in a heap in the bag like they mean for it to look like a trash bag! I prepare all my things for observation with care and its so disrespectful. I'm not saying only once, its everytime. Second hand store or not, they could show a bit more class.
