I went early on a Sunday morning. I like to beat the crowds and usually you can get in/out much quicker. I admit, I don't know the floor layout of this store like I do H&T where I usually shop so sometimes it takes me a little longer. My Son asked me to pick up some items here so I did. I was looking for the Panera Bread branded soups. I know they have them because I've bought them at other Publix stores like Indian Land and Fort Mill. I asked a lady behind the deli counter if she could help me. She reluctantly said 'what do you need'? That was the first indicator this lady didn't want to be there or she just had a 'tude. I told her what I was looking for and she said 'I've never seen them here'. When I told her I had purchased them there before she responded with 'well, if you don't see it out there, we either don't have it or we are out'. What she was saying, without saying it is she didn't know and she really didn't care. I just shook my head and said 'OK' and walked away. Then she said 'I hope you have a nice day'. Oh, she coulda said anything else. So I cruised around and finally found them on the top shelf of the section where they keep the brewed tea in gallon containers. I picked out what I needed and then walked over and showed her I had them. She just looked at me without speaking. I smiled and said 'I hope you have a nice day'.

Great shop today. The store is well stocked, all merchandise in stock with no "outs." The store is clean and well lit. This store is laid out the same as others with four wide aisles. Cookies, crackers, chips, bread at the bottom of the first aisle become produce at the bottom. Second aisle is more produce and then canned/boxed goods including cereals and such. Third aisle is always a little random at one end with a different display of stuff every time, from dish racks to car tools to towels. And the fourth aisle is wine and frozen and then water. Along the back wall is the deli, dairy and fresh meats. Easy, right? Checkout at ALDI is different than Publix. Your stuff goes right back into a cart and then you'll bag it up yourself. No free bags at ALDI, you either bring your own, luck out with a cardboard box that they've just emptied onto a shelf or you can buy bags. Oh, and bring a quarter for the shopping cart deposit. In the south we pride ourselves in friendly buy I guess they did not get the memo. This store is off Monroe Rd and Rama. I guess they don't care. Most of their clients speak Spanish so maybe that's why. Salad was fine and cheap. In this economy we all need that. A smile and hello would not hurt. It's free.

Fitting rooms and restrooms signs easily found. I bought 2 beautiful dresses, and a great pair of shoes. My dresses were priced around $25 and the shoes about $15. The quality was good. However I also saw top name brands like Calvin Klein which were pricier and better quality. I have always liked the Burlington stores and glad it opened in Indian Land, SC.

It's so easy to use the CostCo app and see exactly what the current price is. If you're not a member, you should consider it. They have so many opportunities to SAVE $. I've been a Gold member for years and recently switched to be come an Executive Member. Having the one hour early access is really nice so you can avoid the long lines and make sure you get what you came for. It's nice getting in early because you can cruise the various aisles and see exactly what they have. Sadly, they don't have any signs on the end of the aisles to let you know what's down that LONG. You just have to go down it and check it out. After a while, you learn what's where. I was disappointed to learn they were closed on Memorial Day Monday but after thinking about it, I believe it's a good policy for their employees. The seem to do a good job of selection and hiring. I've noticed they don't seem to have much turnover as I see familiar faces every time I go. Today, I tried the 'self check-out' for the first time. I made the mistake of putting me OWN bag I brought in the bagging area and of course the machine lost it's mind and had to call an attendant to come over and clear the machine.

I have the app that they offer on my telephone . My son was hungry and we decided to pick a pizza. It was buy one get one free extra large. The pizza was very good the price you cannot beat. The workers were nice and pleasant the service was also quick. Decided to hit the restroom and it was clean and fully stocked with supplies. I would recommend stopping at this QT if you're in the area.
