The shop is tucked away but absolutely worth seeking out--a true hidden gem packed with an eclectic mix of vintage treasures, from beautifully restored furniture and quirky jewelry to classic vinyl records and unique artisan crafts. Everything is impeccably clean and thoughtfully organized, making it a joy to browse without feeling overwhelmed. The owner was there and couldn't have been more welcoming--we ended up chatting with her for nearly an hour about local history, antique hunting tips, and some of the stories behind her favorite pieces. Her passion for the items really shines through, and it made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. If you're into antiques or just love discovering one-of-a-kind finds, do yourself a favor and stop by. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!

So after walking around the downtown area(which is small and quaint) and visiting several of the different specialty shops, local restaurants, cafes, and all of the antique/thrift stores(from whom we purchased a wide variety of new and old books from). I was stoked to see this place after not being in Downtown Oakland since my daughters mothers brother lived right up the street from this place. I know, I know. Haha :) First off, the exterior is very alluring and draws you in and that's what made me and my friend want to enter, look around and purchase as many books as possible because we both love a good bookstore and reading. Though that wouldn't be the case because when I opened the door for us to walk into this establishment we were met at the door by a super rude lady who said we weren't allowed to enter the business unless we had on masks, but not a single business in Oakland had this policy except them. Smh! Welp... You lost my money.

Plan on spending hours and hours just to make a first pass of the rooms in this store. It is definitely an antique store with a a lot of old school furniture and knick knacks. The lady that ran the store was such a sweet heart. She had a little bit of trivia and random knowledge about everything in the store. She even had small grab bags of random trinkets for $10 which I thought was really unique. I don't think I have seen an antique store that had those. They would be perfect for a random craft project. Next time I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to stop by.

During the summer, they advertise outdoor 'mining' for the kids - they feature a huge sluice and various sized bags for sale for panning! I have not personally experienced this because they close during Labor Day and I always go the weekend after. The store, located on the second floor the building which also houses Deep Creek Donuts & FunTime Watersports, is a relatively small shop. I am not sure if they are handicap accessible but I do not believe they are. It is also very quiet inside which was a little awkward shopping with a companion and trying to have light conversation while shopping; they might benefit from playing some soft music to make it more inviting. The handmade pottery is beautiful and priced very reasonable - there are small certified cards inside that tell you when/where/who made your art- a very nice touch. They also have a nice selection of geodes, agates, healing stones, and other decorative stones which are very trendy right now. Their clothing selection features mostly T-shirts and similar garments screen-printed with Native-inspired images. They also have jewelry cases along the wall that extend 2 complete walls of the shop; complete with lots of silver and beaded items that are just beautiful. This is a really cool shop loaded with neat goodies, and it's unlike any shop I've ever seen as it focuses on Native offerings which are beautiful and well-made. I have purchased several real geode/stone magnets, large geode bookends, pottery, and some home decor items- I always find something to take home with me! I highly recommend visiting on your next vacation to Deep Creek!
