If you are going there to buy customer service instead of chicken, then maybe you should look at the one star review where someone had a problem which I never experienced. If you are going there to buy top quality fried chicken like the one star reviewer's husband's favorite, then ignore the one star review. I suppose that you could call ahead and request a 12 piece order before you go there to save a wait and guarantee the order. PS This week I had a neighbor call and ask if I had any charcoal to cook their steaks. They had sent their dad out to pick up some dinner fixings before they noticed that they were out and he didn't have his phone. I called the store and gave a description and requested that they look for him and inform him to pick up the Grove charcoal. The owner is wonderful, and his employees are a reflection of him somehow. They're always pleasant, always helpful, always ready to find something for you, always ready to accommodate you if you need any help whatsoever. The items that are advertised as special are always available. During COVID I've always felt safe, and the employees always do the required safety measures that are up to date at any time I've gone there. There's a wall of nuts and grains, freezers with meats and ice creams, and refrigerators filled with items to make any combination of vegans, vegetarians, and omnivores happy. There's a really neat amount of interesting items, and it's a good place to take a poke around. The staff working there when we went in were super friendly and helpful. It's nice knowing that this place is in the neighborhood, and I'm sure I'll be coming back in the near future.
