It's extremely convenient to my house and my job as well as the other shops I frequent. On several occasions, I've encountered a RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL older white woman who says she is the 1st manager. Her name is Teri and if she's not the owner of the store why does she still have a job there? She is disrespectful to the customers as well as the other employees. I've witnessed her behavior quite frequently and asked her would she like if someone spoke to her in that manner. I even asked for a corporate number to make a formal complaint, she told me I could find another Dollar Tree to go to. I've been a Supervisor for over 20 years and my subordinates are never treated with disrespect from me. I've heard her call an employee stupid and that was it for me. I will never enter that store again as long as she's employed there. I will encourage my friends, neighbors and co-workers not to patronize as well. Her behavior is deplorable and should be looked into. No one should be treated with such blatant disrespect TERI!

There were several employees stocking shelves who neither moved to accommodate me wiggling my cart through the narrow, choked aisles, and others yet who didn't make eye contact nor offer a greeting. The only staff who acknowledged me was the nice older gal who rang me up, the high point of my stop here, not just because it meant that I was leaving, but she was genuinely friendly. There was fast-food trash on many of the shelves, crumpled wrappers from Bojangles, gas station coffee cups etc.. I found it ironic that there was one aisle with trash cans (for sale) flopped around it, yet there was actual trash all around the store. The layout is clumsy, the customer service was next to non-existent. I think I'll stick to the dollar store down at Hamilton Mill. Their check-out may be slower, but it's easier to navigate, cleaner, and more helpful.

I asked if I could receive a discount for the remaining balloons she refused to fill, since there were no posted restrictions on the sign and my request (about 20 small 6-inch balloons) was hardly unreasonable. She became condescending and unprofessional; especially when other customers entered the store. She made a point of loudly saying she "couldn't help them" because she was "too busy filling too many balloons." She even commented to her coworker that she'd been "blowing up balloons all day," and when asked how many were left, said sarcastically, "too many," right in front of me. This was embarrassing, unnecessary, and incredibly unprofessional. Management or corporate needs to provide training on basic customer interaction and respect. When I first saw "Five Below," I thought it was a store that sold cold weather gear, but my assumption was way off. Five Below sells most of it's stocked items for $5 or less, although I saw some items priced at $12 when I walked through the store today. Most of the items in the store, strategically placed in the front half of the store, are targeted to kids. I couldn't believe the variety of candy in the Sugar Rush area, and so much of it were brand name and popular candies. Another large area has clothing, accessories, and a lot of other things for girls, from elementary school through high school ages. In the back is the electronics department, where customers can find some practical to very cool products, including electronic cables, bluetooth speakers, gaming accessories, phone cases, and much more, all at cheap prices. I can't vouch for the quality of these products, because I didn't buy anything, but I suppose, at these prices, if they last at least 6 months, that's a great purchase. As I was leaving the store, one of the employees at the front of the store called out to me, "Have a great evening, sir!"
