We made a small purchase, two delmonico steaks and some country sausage. Pricing is totally in line with the major regional supermarket chains, but our impression is that quality is much better here at D&D, We grilled the steaks tonight and they were SOOOOOO good. They were actually better than the same cut and size we recently received at a chain steak house in the area just last week. Even though the cuts and amounts were essentially the same, the restaurant sliced it thin (1/4") so it covered more real estate on the dinner plate. Our "rare" steaks actually came out well done (brown through and through and warm in the middle--they were tender and OK so we didn't fuss and "send them back"). The D&D steaks were cut thicker, ~1/2", so we actually were able to burn just the outside and the middle was truly "rare," as in red, cool center. Thus, much better outcome for what supposedly was intended to be the same. We can't wait to try the country sausage we got at D&D. Most definitely, we will be back for more, and will try the baby back ribs and other offerings.

But for a convenience store or to fill up with gasoline (this particular station is a BP) they're rather good, super clean and friendly. ROCS Local Market is also a rather good fast food operation with foot long dogs, pizza, varying sandwiches and what they term "mini-meals." For what it is, being little more than a typical gasoline/convenience store operation, it's one of the better ones.

I was in this store around 4 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023 with my 71 year old Mother who specifically had stopped to use the restroom. The clerk refused good customer service by stating that the once public restrooms were no longer "public" restrooms because someone had stolen something from the restroom, which caused my elderly Mother to have an embarrassing accident. When I made the comment that that was rediculous, the same rude clerk mocked me by saying it was indeed rediculous. This clerk was heavy set with close cropped curly kinky hair, African American, and in desperate need of a better attitude.
