The dock boy called management because no one told him that was our reserved boat. We finally got the boat. Trolling motor was dysfunctional. Returned to dock. Etc. Half of our week was boat troubles. I could continue about unreturned calls, baseless excuses, a dock boy they stranded in a storm...but I will conclude with this; avoid Moosebirds for boat rentals. But, if you must rent here, definitely DO NOT PAY UPFRONT! Being famous for ice cream does not make up for our experience. It's good ice cream only because it's ice cream. Not because it's delicious ice cream.

They've saved 2 of my hunting trips over the decades having items I'd broken or left at home. Keep an eye on expiration dates. On 2 different occasions we discovered perishables past their expiration dates. Once we didn't notice the milk was well past the sell by date until we were back at the shack.
